If you have a natural healer that has been healing their whole lives and you know that reiki training is just a class in their schooling?
Well...I'd like to give her all the symbols and one attunement for all at one time. My thoughts are that they will give her control; to be able to turn off and then on, when she choses. I'm not even sure she needs this. But more tools for her toolbox.
When I got my 1 and 2, my hot hands went away. My first thought was that I have angered the Gods and they took them from me. Then I learned control. To turn them on and off. This was difficult where before it was a natural happening. I didn't notice anything when I got my level 3 master/teacher. It just felt like I had arrived at the beginning of something.
I noticed big changes when I started 3rd eye exercises and then with the study of reconective therapy. With reconective...there are no symbols no tradition, just real power to heal. The same with some other energy therapies. They say that the symbols are like training wheels.
So if I impant the symbols into her aura (bare with me here) and let her digest them for her own methodology, her own progression of healing technique?
Now let's go over this again:
She has done William Rands books and DVDS.
She has done Diane Stein's books.
She has been healing all of her life.
I really feel like she could spend the day with me and take it all in one attunement.
So I am asking anyone that is psychic and/or intuitive. .. how does this resonate with you?
PS...Reiki symbols and Reiki powers came to those that passed them on...wait for it...all at one time. Those who received this information received it all at one time. Think about it. Seichem came from one overnight stay in a tomb.
You could argue that because she's got so much experience why not stretch out the time between 1, 2 and 3.
She should go with her intuition and decide for herself on the day perhaps.
Also, there's a certain satisfaction in taking the time to experiment with Reiki at each stage.

Personally I feel that Reiki is more than just receiving attunements. If that's a persons perception then that is all they will get out of Reiki, but there IS more to Reiki than that. Being attuned with all levels of Reiki does not make someone a master of Reiki regardless of what other experience they have. However, it's not up to me or you... it's up to the person receiving and what they want.

You are perhaps mixing empowerments with attunements?

This is an interesting question. For me the answer is an emphatic 'no' because master level attunement implies initial attunement and knowledge have been enhanced with experience. When I went for my master attunmenet my teacher refused to attune me for teaching - only for healing. She felt I needed more experience of healing to be able to teach others.
In fact I have an interesting situation atm. I have been asked if I can do a level 3 attunement on someone who is already level 2, but she doesn't work as a healer, she just wants to be attuned so she can attune others. Since I believe the whole word should be attuned to level 1 , this is good....but just because SHE doesn't heal doesn't mean others she attunes won't want to - and if I am going to attune her I need to be sure what she will be teaching others. And if she doesn't heal , she cannot teach others how to....
She was attuned in India and I suspect what she was taught bears little or no resemblance to what I was taught - and I reckon I am in for an interesting day - and an interesting decision
Reiki is for healing. Yes I agree. But remember that the person I'm talking about was born a healer and has been doing it all her life.
She has a friend that says they were sisters and healers in a previous life and one of them was burned and one thrown off of a bridge. Now she knows why she has a fear of bridges.
So I guess we will both have to go with intuition.
It seems like in any story of attunements the knowledge comes after the the attunements. Except in cases of natural healers. With them the experience precedes the attunement. And they can arrive greater than their teachers before taking a class.
You know Diane Stein gives all 3 levels master/teacher at a 3 day weekend. The only problem with that is some people can get a little sick. When I took my classes; I showed up, just 1 of 15 people. Took my classes got my attunements and didn't see my teacher again for 2 years when I took my master/teacher. I didn't heal for a living, for me it was a spiritual journey. Now it has become more. So we can't see the future in someones path. What is lost by giving an attunement, if it is never used? Nothing. Let the universe take care of it.

It is a spiritual journey for me too - and for this lady who wants her master attunement from me. But it is my responsibility as a teacher to be as sure as I can those I teach are aware of the responsibilities of being a teacher - and even more so the responsibilities of being a healer.
It takes MUCH more than an attunement ritual to ensure people will not do more harm than good. Both healing and teaching are exercises in power - I need to be sure that power will not be misused.
I understand and admire you for what you are saying. No buts.That's what intuition is for and you are using it. I haven't given attunements myself because of the awesome responsibility of it.
OK, maybe a but. I understood that Reiki and only be used for good? If the universe doesn't approve nothing happens? But that is healing not teaching. Ok...ok.
But then again if you have a bad feeling (intuition) about doing something...don't do it. It doesn't matter what your mind says or I say or any rationale. Just use that lovely little tool. I stopped having to have a reason for anything a long time ago. " I don't feel good about it." Works for me. I don't have to have a reason other than that.
My heart says reiki is a healing art. If you're not a healer maybe you should teach something else. But (always a but with me, there's too much info in my brain that hasn't been sorted out yet). I try not to be attached to the "outcome".
What ever I do; I'm trying to do what is right for me at the time, with the knowledge I have at the time, plus intuition (hopefully). And then let it go. I can't be responsible for what other people do or say. That doesn't mean I don't feel it. But it's not realistic to believe others will always do good with any gift they are given.
But (again) I try too hard NOT to be judgmental and we are called upon to make judgments every day. I just know that I can only see a person at this one moment in time; responding to what ever they are going through. I don't see the whole of that person. So I try to rely on intuition and let it go.
On the other hand...I refuse permanent makeup students all the time. If someone is not an artist and love makeup...#1. they will damage women's faces. #2. Fail

Thank you for taking the time to provide links. I have been enjoying them. The classes I took were in a massage therapy school, but my teacher was a healer and a teacher of reiki in every sense of that definition.
But our classes were short. Reiki 1... one day. Reiki 2 one day. There were massage therapists just getting required education unites to keep up their licenses. Massage therapists that were healers. Witches, psychics and spiritual seekers. So we raised the temperature in the room so high that the a/c couldn't keep up and had way too much fun.
We were given manuals and were expected to get the details from them. That was ok by me because we shared a great experience. BUT, history of Usui and Seichem were very lightly touched upon. We came together, shared energy, got attunements and then went out into the world to learn. Hmmmm kind of like every start story of energy healing?
Anyway. ..thank you for the links. I am enjoying them. My Seichem education is lacking. These links are changing my perceptions.

I understand my teacher and how she taught, better now with your link to All Love. It was so different than the philosophies of the Usui teachers here. I didn't know I was attuned to both Usui and Seichem till I got my certificates. History was a very small part of the class. It was funny. The entire class room was filled (every chair) but no one sat beside me. Later a psychic in the class told us someone was sitting there.
I am gaining new understandings.
I appreciate the introduction to the All Love website. Which somehow linked me to a Green Tara link and my dog and I sang the mantra (my first). Tears fell and I felt better. I couldn't believe it. My dog just softly sang along. Green Tara is a great bodhisattva of comfort with a great background story. I never would have found this on my own. I have heard that all the healers here at this time are bodhisattvas.
I am enriched by you taking the time to give me these links. It has affected me deeply.
