Crowen, communication can be pictures if the communicator needs, that's another word for symbols.

I heard a voice a month or so ago and (didn't want to) got up and wrote it down.

"The aura is the artform. Change the artform and change the life. I have been here before. "

I am an artist so this would be good way to explain something or give a message to me. I am not sure of the words actually used but this is the message that my brain translated to me.

it was after that, I was introduced to reconective healing with Dr. Eric Pearl. I really feel it. I am offended by his increasingly slick marketing but I love the energy and philosophy. Reconection healing is an art form.

Yaaaaaaa, I feel like I'm on the right path 🙂

I don’t know if this is a reply to my post or not but, if so, nothing will take care of an intrusion other than taking it out. I’ve discussed this with many people who do both shamanism and reiki and they all agree that what is being done is quite different. I agree with this – not just for chakras/life force generators, but for many parts of healing. It’s easy to trust in ‘the higher good’ if the healer doesn’t truly believe that there will be any effect in this reality – and many don’t. One of the reasons that people drop shamanism is the reality of the changes it incurs. Too real to ignore. Many people find that scary.

No it wasn't a reply to your post 🙂

I understand little of what you say. I'm not studied in shamanism so I don't comment. I don't understand or relate to the intrusion discussions. I'm into washing and cleansing with light and energy. Disconnecting with the raku and sealing myself in an egg of protection.

I believe: [COLOR="DarkGreen"]There is no reality, only perception. My perception is that the natural state is darkness until there is light. With light the darkness is not. The natural state is cold until there is heat. When there is heat there is no cold.

So for me there is no bogeyman, no evil and no intrusions. I believe there are unhappy or evil spirits lurking but they can't harm me without my permission. I do believe however that mankind does bad things for power, glory and greed. I can't control that. I can just do the best I can to fulfill my mission, do no harm and maybe enjoy being here in earth school just a little 🙂

I also believe that no one gets hurt at earth school so this is but a dream. If we are conscious and aware during this dream we will awaken at death a more enlightened being.

Sorry, I’m clearly missing your meaning here. Could you explain?

I don’t see how there can be ‘no evil’, yet at the same time be ‘evil spirits’. However, I believe in neither of these, Nor in ‘bogeymen’.
Intrusions are things that are in the wrong place – like a splinter in your finger or a spider in the bath. I agree that you can’t control other humans. I would say that you can’t control all spirits, either.

I also believe that no one gets hurt at earth school so this is but a dream. If we are conscious and aware during this dream we will awaken at death a more enlightened being

So long as you do awaken, get where you need to be and don’t get stuck.

Symbols, pictures, "visions" instead of words or sounds. Symbols don't necessarily mean reiki symbols; a horse as a symbol for freedom or sexual desire. Like that.

What I mean by evil spirits (and I miss spoke) is spirits that are angry and or evil doers and haven't moved on to where they belong after they died. And I'm not even sure I believe in that either but a lot of psychic say they see them and talk to them.

I do believe some people are psychopaths and evil. If they insisted on staying on this plain and refused to move on...they would still be evil.

I don't understand intrusions but I will look it up tonight. I wasn't sure if you were talking about psychic cords or attachments. There is so much to learn. I want to understand it all but focus on chronic pain, emotional and mental anguish and grief. I want to challenge mental illness. I want to do tune ups 🙂

Maybe I need to know about intrusions. I will check it out.

Crowan,

Could an intrusion be someone who comes into your life and loves you until you surrender and feel the "love"?

You feel their love for you until you believe that you love them? Or are captured?

If this is so? Can you start a new thread and elaborate on this phenomenon? Because if this is so then all of a sudden I understand why empathic, sensitive, psychic, healing types of people need to have protection!

Symbolism came up in reference to how spirits communicate with us. However, my spirits don’t generally use symbols – I find sitting down with a drink and having a chat works better.

What I mean by evil spirits (and I miss spoke) is spirits that are angry and or evil doers and haven't moved on to where they belong after they died. And I'm not even sure I believe in that either but a lot of psychic say they see them and talk to them.

I think we are using the term ‘spirits’ slightly differently, here. Would I be right in thinking that you are primarily using the word to describe the souls of ‘dead people’ (i.e. dead from our point of view)? I include this usage, but most of the spirits I deal with do not come into this category. Everything has a spirit.
Psychopaths and ‘evil’ beings are damaged and need help. While we can do our best here, this help is more easily given from the Land of the Dead (generic term used to avoid the culture-biased “Heaven” etc.).

I don't understand intrusions but I will look it up tonight. I wasn't sure if you were talking about psychic cords or attachments. There is so much to learn. The shamanic view of illness is that something that should be there is missing (‘power loss’ or ‘soul loss’) and/or something is there that should not be (an ‘intrusion’ or an ‘attachment’).

Intrusions are often nature spirits, occasionally dead people and (very rarely) something sent. In any case, shamanic practitioners should easily be able to set things right.
When you talk about “someone who comes into your life and loves you until you surrender and feel the ‘love’" – if a client said this to me, I would suspect soul loss, leading to a weakening of boundaries. You understand – this is my educated guess, based on several decades of shamanic experience. If you were my client, I would ask my Spirit Teachers and they would deny or confirm this.
If someone needs protection, it is because they are not complete in their own power. A person full of his/her own power is so full that nothing ‘harmful’ can get in. However, empathic, sensitive, psychic, healing types of people are very often the people who have lost power or soul – many simply give it away (something that modern cultures encourage). So, while what you describe is not an intrusion, it can certainly lead to having an intrusion.

(This kind of question/answer is an illustration of why I feel more comfortable discussing such things on a more general forum (or in the Shamanism Forum), since I am aware that we have strayed rather from Reiki. and psychic healing.:))

Crowan,
Feel free to start a side topic over in the Shamanism forum and then we can put links in both to reference each topic.
It's quite natural for some discussions to include differing views and ideas, and no one forum is going to completely support a particular topic all the time. Some discussions, by their very nature will go 'off topic', but as long as they're naturally flowing that way and not being deliberately taken that way by someone else who's not concerning themselves with the flow of the discussion, then that's ok. 😉

All Love and Reiki Hugs

That was enlightening. Thank you.

Soul loss and weakened boundaries. I can see this. Years of living with narsiccicsits; I can remember my body with a dead soul (or no soul) in it.

Of course a shrink would say depression but my mind was barely tolerating this body, my soul was somewhere else. This may be why I believe that depression can be healed with psychic healing.

BUT, to pass energy and be empathic to the aura and needs of others requires this kind of loss of boundaries, does it not?

The natural progression of thought here would be...controlled loss of boundaries.

My "under belief" is loss, cruelty and physical and mental abuse provokes the highest growth in this life. Horrible philosophy (earth school) I know; but it's recovering from these things that gives the grestest empathy and ability to counsel.

Maybe this does belong somewhere else but I see it as "the creation of a healer". I struggle every day with exposure to the world. I love to be alone with my books and music. One diagnosis is hyperactivity and attention deficit disorder another would be empathic and hyper aware of the needs and suffering of others around me.

I also love to be with each individual client and see and know just what they need and care for them on several levels. Then they are gone and I would not recognize them in the grocery store. I immerse in each person and then it is over.

Perception. I am seriously flawed... or ... I am different and have a different purpose here than to be in and around people all the time.

I don't know if other healers can relate to this or if ...

I'm not sure what to say. I have exposed my inner torments. I am not powerful or whole. But I feel somehow that's the way I need to be in order to be a healer?

So much to learn. So much to learn.

Imagine the boundary as a fence around you. A controlled loss of boundaries would be to, every now and again, break through the fence, then build it again. Takes a lot of time and effort. It would be much easier to have a gate in the fence.
But actually I don’t think that you do require a loss of boundaries. Energy passes through you and everything else naturally, without effort. I don’t know about your methods of finding out the needs of others. If I need to, (for example, with a client) I simply ask my Spirit Healing Teacher and she tells me. (I don’t really “do” empathy).

My "under belief" is loss, cruelty and physical and mental abuse provokes the highest growth in this life. Horrible philosophy (earth school) I know; but it's recovering from these things that gives the grestest empathy and ability to counsel.

Certainly, shamanism requires none of this. Abuse harms and leads to soul loss. Yes, we can learn from it – we can learn from anything – but some of what we learn is fear and closing off. Shamanism has given me a way to heal not only others but also myself and the land.

We are all flawed. You may not be whole, but you have power. You clearly have courage and compassion also.

Love the gate! Appreciate the things you say. I don't have to agree with them all to be affected by them. I am affected by them.

I think about a medium that is plagued with the sight of things they don't really want to see.

I feel things that I don't really want to feel.

BUT...some of the things that I have been saying might not necessarily completely true anymore? ? ?

Am I getting some small amount of control over what I am allowing in? Is that possible? Naaaaaa...my imagination...wishful thinking.

If it's possible to be more open or to be more closed? I may be learning it. So much to learn...so much to learn.

PS...Do you think that there is the possibility that those who have suffered the most have the greatest opportunity for developing compassion and empathy?

I know I am asking for too much. I just wanted a safe place. A place where the regulars on that forum wouldn't be offended by strange and bazaar and maybe even seemingly evil practices.

You have a safe place, it is full of differing opinions
Reply to those that share your chosen views and opinions
Those that you feel you disagree with do not need a reply
(Apart from maybe a polite thank you)
Cherry picking from what people reply with is no crime
Just because people reply in a way that may offend
Does not mean that they have chosen a confrontational route
It just means that they have a differing view to the one that you have
Or even that they are putting it across in a way that you are uncomfortable with
This is not others having a go at us, it is people sharing in their way

Depending on your definition of "spirits", this might even come under shamanism.

This is what I was thinking.

Just when I was kind of thinking I was maybe creating some boundaries?

Ha! Silly me.

I had a permanent makeup client yesterday. When she walked in the door she was a dark blob. It took me a minute to shake it off so I could see her permanent makeup and see what needed to be done (it was a touchup, people have to come back in six weeks for a touchup).

I could hardly hear her. Geeezz. I have no boundaries at all. After I assessed her pmu needs and laid her down to numb...I was able to offer her the opertunity to talk about her distress.

As she talked; I remembered her first visit when she cried and the story she told me. She is the little being in the story in "The Martian chronicles". She is captured and half alive. When I was almost finished I asked her if she would like reiki. She is a nurse and we had discussed this before, she said yes.

Her chakras were like raisins. I just started by touching her head (in sort if a dr Spock kind of way) and connected? Reading her? She came into me before I knew what was happening. I focused on opening my chakras and drawing energy into me and pushing it into her (if only to stop the backwash).

Then once I felt like I had some control of the situation (ha, right, ha) I started to pry open her chakras. Didn't work. So I tryed spining energy into them. Hmmmmm. Then just raining energy over her.

OK, now I could open up her chackras a little and send energy through them and to the earth. Then I was DONE. Finished for the day. DONE.

She got up and low and behold...her cheeks were pink and she had a smile. Yaaaaaaaaa! I asked her how she felt and she said lighter. And she was warm. I recommended that she come back a couple times.

But that is not the story! The story is that as I slept and woke all night. I did her over and over again (her chackras must be the size of mellons!). I WAS CAPTURED! Once I got up and realized that my thoughts were consumed with her; I realized that I was captured. I looked up her name in my appointment book, said her name, visualized her face and did several rakus. Then I was free.

We are all unique as are our abilties...

I've been to that forum. Doesn't appeal to me. Even a little. I don't belong with "lost my expensive sunglasses".

I'm becoming something I don't recognize.

I heard a voice a few months ago and immediately got out of bed and wrote it down.

"The aura is the artform, change the artform and change the life."

Now I am an artist; my life is art so this is the way they choose to speak to me.

I am hoping to find others like me. They may not feel like they can speak freely. When I got into a battle here several people contacted me saying that they didn't post anymore because of the responses they got. Responses to conform to standards of reiki principles.

What I am learning is not new. Nothing is new. It's just new to us. New to me. I'm not a witch in that I am not wiccin. I don't see the dead, find things or see the future, so I'm not a psychic/medium. I'm just flying around (OMG, I can't believe I just said that) doing things, seeing things, providing comfort, protection and doing some kind of auric or chackra healings?

I'm not sure what is happening or where this will lead me; but I'd like to find like spirits. I believe that they are there. Bodhisattvas and lightworkers of a different variety.

Hiya,

I've just read this post and am glad that you wrote it actually because I have been saying this too for a while now myself.

Reiki Principles? This always winds me up. So many people feel that if it's not Reiki then it's not real. This is rubbish really. Do you feel the wind when it's windy? 'Oh no you can't possibly because you're not accredited by the wind feeling academy!'

I get fed-up with everyone honing in on 'Reiki' healing as if it is the only 'real' form of healing. It's like Feng Shui, people often think that the only type of spirituality around the home is Feng Shui.

What these people fail to realise is that the energies we all tune into and channel are the same, it's just the names given to the techniques used that are different.

I offer healing to people as part of my work and the way I do depends entirely upon 'who' I am healing and what their individual needs are.

I also 'see' and 'feel' people's energy patterns in their aura's and re-create new ones to bring healing where required.

People and website submission areas often ask me what 'type' of healing I am certified in or am I a Reiki Master? I am who I am and I do what I do, it is not Reiki but it is the same as Reiki, who wrote the rule book anyway?

It's like the people who believe that you can only talk to and be blessed by God if you go to church!

It seems that people are stuck in this 'you've got to be qualified by bla bla bla in bla bla bla' era at the moment. I however know that either you are a channel or you are not, like me being a psychic. I love the term 'artist' and I would agree that this is a brilliant term.

People often 'coin' terms in an attempt to control, manipulate and gain wealth from others, setting up accreditation bodies left, right and center. Like a lot of systems of control this not necessary at all and people should not be taken in by it.

Practicing professionally and with good conduct is however something that must be learned. Maybe one of the benefits of these structured forms of healing is that they provide a degree of protection for the potential clients, by way of the teaching of basic standards of good practice?

Yes, yes, no, yes, I'm not sure and maybe I will know tomorrow.

:rollaugh: Yes, I know it is in poor taste to laugh at my own jokes.

My opinion (for what it's worth) today (and it may be different next week, we are all growing here) is pretty wide. I believe that healing has been revealed in different forms since the beginning of time with different names or labels. It's all healing and it all comes from God/Source/Ghia/ Mother Earth/the Goddess/He/She/They (did I cover all beliefs?).

I think of Reiki in terms of the definition of the word, not as Usui, Sechiem or any other "traditions". I believe followers need rules to follow in the footsteps of those who received a healing art direct from the source. I believe the followers need and impose those rules on themselves and their students for a time until they evolve into an intuitive or natural healer.

To further clarify, some people are born healers. We believe because we were healers in a previous life. We may also feel like we want to be attuned in reiki to better understand what this all means. Then raise again or fluctuate between a tradition and that which happens naturally when our compassion is provoked.

To some, this may be there first life to be a healer. They may need the structure and guidance of a tradition to bring them to the point that they can heal themselves and others.

But when it's all said and done. The source or God doesn't need us to heal anybody. We need to be healers to become more God like. Becoming healers and training others to be healers is like learning math and tutoring others in math so we can all do math and be more functional. And then the 100th monkey effect can take place and WA LA! EVOLUTION! YAAAAAAAA

I actually feel silly using the sybmols. There I said it. I will futher offend by saying I don't believe we need them. But maybe they are a good tool in the training process. It's kind of like how terribly important it is to get a high school diploma. OMG and the stupid stuff you have to absorb to get it. But when you have a college or university degree? That high school diploma is meaningless and you learn in college that most of what you had to learn in high school was not completely true. Then you live, function, work, reproduce and teach your children. By this time you realize that most of what you learned in college was un necessary and some not completely true. You age and became a grandparent...yes...you guessed it. You realize that most of what you learned in life was un necessary and not completely true.

YOU ARE TRUE! YOU ARE NESSESSARY! YOU HAVE BECOME YOUR "I AM". BLASPHEMY!

And YES I still believe we should have a forum for psychic healing. But I am beating a dead horse (I don't know if you use that expression in the UK)
