So you are dismissing my request for a psychic healing forum?

As Pauls says, ultimately it's Mike's decision, but from what you've described in your 'example' question, you're talking of energy healing, so the Reiki and Energy Healing forum is the ideal place for it.

If you specifically want to talk about Psychic related matters then there's the Psychic and Paranormal forum.

Nothing you've demonstrated in your example would suggest a need for a specific "psychic healing" forum. That's one of the reasons the Reiki and Energy Healing forum is not just specifically for Reiki, but for all energy healing modalities.

You say:

But if you follow the current trend on that forum that is more traditional Usui and "you are a conduit, get out of the way", don't try to be anything other than yourself, "don't try to be special", "if you use reiki properly...", "if you are really a healer" blah blah blah" kind of philosophy I get from there? I feel like I would open myself up for attack talking about healing, aura or chakra repair on the astral.

I say this because these things have been said to me on that forum. I was told not to astral project, it would be too hard on me. It is effortless with no after effects. Now the 3rd eye exercises were painful and when I got my first attunement; it was very painful. My heart chakra cracked open with terrible pain. But astral projection is effortless with no after effects. I do my best work there. I am unattached to any physicality and distraction.

I "AM" totally on the astral. I belong there. It is my office.

Although I have to say some people here are very non judgmental and a discussion or exchange of ideas is very pleasant with them and I always go away a little changed or enlightened. But some want you to conform and do things the "right way" oh 🙂 which just so happens is the way they do it :-)))))))

... that is the nature of discussion forums.
People here are generally kind and caring people, with lots of knowledge and understanding from different perspectives. It is rare for anyone to 'attack' others here (and if that's felt to be the case then the moderators will review it and step in as necessary).
Of course people will say things that you may not agree with, but they are sharing their knowledge of what has worked for them... to them it is the "right way", but that doesn't mean you have to conform to it... you can easily just let it go; however if you argue against what they're saying then of course they will try and explain it, perhaps on the basis they believe you haven't understood them, but that's only because they're trying to help answer your questions, not because they are demanding you to listen.

The forums have been labelled up by the admin to try and cater for most things, so in general are not tied down to very specific things in a lot of cases (especially where there are different forms or modalities available). Your questions could fit into several of the existing ones, and bear in mind that many members will be happy to discuss in multiple forums, they don't just hang out in any specific ones, so having a new forum for your questions wouldn't stop, for example, the Reiki knowledgable people coming there to discuss it.

All Love and Reiki Hugs

PS...Sacrel, you mentioned the chackra colors. Every thing seems black and gray on the astral to me? Unless I call in colors. I wonder if this is something that will change over time or normal?

I don't know if this is the same for everyone else? Over time I have come to learn to not expect anything, open my awareness and just wait to see what comes forward to me.

I see chakras like large flat blooming open flowers, all with their relative vibrant colours, all turning with a sense of awe and belonging. The colour also speaks to me in a way that I can identify the vibrancy and the meaning of it. I don't know if this is how chakras are to look like?

I expect it will be different for each person I would think anything shown to a person would be depending on their own conditioning of life. 'slightly off topic' "if spirit wanted to impress a message within me then I would expect spirit would use the symbols that I could relate to, and maybe different for another person, depending on what that person understands the meaning of the symbol to be to them?'"

So the chakra is shown to me in this form, colour and speed. I find as I am channeling reiki its wonderful to step back within and just watch as reiki goes where it feels it needs to and the work it does to the chakras.

I can only describe it as a time of sitting back to watch a movie.to take in what I am being led to feel, see and understand. What I do find magical is the after chat. The client takes time to share their experience and to watch the changes within them both mentally and physically over the coming days. It can be amazing how everything reflects and confirms the experience I have when channeling.:)

Of course others as yourself may have totally different experiences as with chakras.

Doesn’t this depend on the spirit? Not all spirits will know your understanding of symbols.

I have felt also that the chackras all would spin clockwise but I have seen writings saying other wise. But MAYBE ...all chackras spining clockwise is good for clients but for some healers or psychics that are going for power? would go for every other direction?

Why is clockwise “good”?

I expect spirits that don't communicate though a persons understanding of symbols may communicate in other ways that the person understands or would need to learn?

It was a long time ago now but I had learned from more than one source that if spirit wants to communicate with you spirit also wants to help you with the connection by impressing messages via symbols 'already within the conditioning and knowledge' of that person. A person could relate to the symbols and the meanings they impress in turn becoming more accurate when relaying communications. ' from memory I think I got that right?'

In my experience I feel this to have been the case. but I accept not all the same for everyone or..... who knows?...spirit?

I know this is for Stephanie but I wish to mention that I have only experienced a clockwise movement to chakras. but don't know if this means a good thing or not? I wonder if anti clockwise mean something?. May be different to each person.

Do you see the chakras with your eyes open or closed?

I see them as flowers also. But only on the astral. In person I am bombarded by so much stimulus that I can barely focus enough to pass energy. I don't do much in person work.

I see/sense color and emotion over a person when they walk into my shop. Their energy fills my shop and I have to recover quickly to do my permanent makeup application. They have to fill out a form for me. This gives me a little time to recover from the impact of their presence.

I am hoping this will change and I will be able to separate what "I am seeing" into meaning instead of just an assault of....I don't know how to explain it.

I live alone for a reason 🙂 I'd live in the woods if I could :rollaugh:

In my experience closed is a lot easier and quicker to see. distant or in or in person. Open as well, but this does take a little longer.

Others and yourself may understand what I describe here that once you look at the client in person, leaving your open eyes focus over a point on the body for a while tends to bring forth a shimmer of a veil all from within your internal vision,.....outside. If this sounds right!
In this veil the chakras can be seen floating on their chakra points on the body. Take your attention away for a moment at the shimmer disappears!!. If this makes sense.?

Are you sure it wasn't because of the emanating love from a tall, dark and handsome gentleman who had been searching for you for years, entering your shop, flinging the door open and swept you off your feet?:D

A bit of fun Stephanie,Couldn't resist your passionate description;)

:rollaugh: too funny :rollaugh:

I think I'm up for one more great passionate love affair before I die :-)))) I will watch for him and sit down if I see him coming.

But its women, afraid, depressed or disparing. It hits me like an enormous gust of wind.

The joyful ones take me on a wild ride. I have the perfect job for a sensitive person. No boss, no employees and I work by appointment only so I can give myself a half an hour to recover between clients.

Geeessss, I sound really pitiful 🙁

If you are talking about your own spirit Teacher (who may or may not be a 'guide' as well), then yes – probably.
But just talking generally about spirits – we can’t make the assumption that they are intelligent, or interested or caring enough to find out what our ‘conditioning or knowledge’ might be. They could be. Equally they could be just bloody-minded.
Even with a Spirit Teacher, there has to be – just as there is with anyone else – a time of getting to know each other.
Spirits are people too.

I know this is for Stephanie but I wish to mention that I have only experienced a clockwise movement to chakras. but don't know if this means a good thing or not? I wonder if anti clockwise mean something?. May be different to each person.

I would have thought that whether or not a particular direction is good or bad depends on your background. I have known Wiccans use one direction for some things and the other direction for other things. I tend to go with what my spirit friends tell me at any particular time. For example, if I am rattling a circle (before doing shamanic work, to make a sacred space) I will rattle clockwise or anti-clockwise, depending on what the spirit of the rattle wants to do. Not exactly chakras, I know, but since I don't often deal with chakras (because, if there’s a problem there, there will be a reason for it – often an intrusion. So, deal with that, and the problem goes away) this is the only times I think about clockwise and anti-clockwise.

I have to say...I'm leaving the spin to special occasions when I am prompted to do it.

I think opening the chakras and raining enery into each one and maybe running energy from one to another aught to take care of any problems? Doing a head to toe (or from above to earth) like I did in the thread "sorry I just have to vent" might be saved for a second or third visit.

Chakra tuning might be a thing I only do on intuition and not as a rule. But I have to confess that I don't do what I intend to do and never know what I am going to do until after it is done.

I'm not sure if that is a good thing or a bad thing...but it's my thing.

There are lots of different teachings about the chakras or life force generators as I prefer to call them, some teach a flower opening, others teach them as vortexes sucking in energy.

Personally I perceive them as round globes that can spin in a clockwise or counter-clockwise direction, either vigorously or sluggishly and they can also stall, they can work with each other or opposed to each other as they generate our life force power of consciousness in alignment with our underlying thought patterns and beliefs.

As they collectively generate the environment that our general state of health and wellbeing reflects, then it is a good idea to gain a level of understanding of how our matrix of consciousness works, before we start making adjustments to them that can have an impact upon the person that is on the receiving end of our administrations.

I hear a lot of 'I only send healing for the highest good' on this forum, but anyone that is starting to work on people life force generators is moving into the realms of active healing and has to accept personal responsibility for the changes they are choosing to create.

It is a fascinating subject and well worth the time and effort that goes into gaining an understanding of what can be achieved through it. 🙂

In regards to chakras I have mentally energised / purified them everyday for many years .

What came to mind in regards to movement / rotation I have been intuitively drawn to both clockwise and anticlockwise motion .

Starting from the base in a clockwise motion and then the sacrel anticlockwise and so forth as I make my way up through them .

Some work from top to bottom and some bottom to top . Each to their own .

I just googled this first website that is listed regarding movement / direction of chakras and they seem to agree with my thoughts .

This info speaks of men and womens chakras spinning in opposite directions if you understand me .

Yes there are numerous thoughts about the direction of spin for the chakras. Like the power symbol. Some say it should be counter clockwise and some say clockwise. Some say above the equator one way and below the equator the other.

And yes a difference between men and women. And could that have something to do with instant attractions? A topic for another day 🙂

The chakras spin belief I resonate with is all the same way for peace and harmony and every other direction for power. But this is really advanced intuitive corrective interference into the body energy centers. As paul say it's not "giving reiki for the greatest good".

It's psychic healing 🙂

I did it for myself and one other person who was "all into the wind" and needed stabilization (her chakras where like dead raisins). Otherwise my FEELING is to open them, water and fertilize them with energy and then "if I feel it" run energy from above the crown to the earth. I wouldn't even run it back from the earth again unless they were a healer or..... Id just keep running it from above the crown to the earth over and over. But I'd rather do that in more than one session so I can get feedback on how they handled the chakra opening and energizing (I don't leave them open).

I do these things with fear and trembling. With great respect for the path of the person I am engaging. Do no harm. Do no harm. Do no harm.

When I feel like I should do something; my first thoughts are "you're kidding me? " and "how am I supposed to do that?".

I get it...I'm playing with grownups toys. I don't want to drown in the water drawn by a hundred brooms with buckets ?

?referring to the movie "The sorcerers apprentice".

I don’t know if this is a reply to my post or not but, if so, nothing will take care of an intrusion other than taking it out. I’ve discussed this with many people who do both shamanism and reiki and they all agree that what is being done is quite different.

I hear a lot of 'I only send healing for the highest good' on this forum, but anyone that is starting to work on people life force generators is moving into the realms of active healing and has to accept personal responsibility for the changes they are choosing to create.

I agree with this – not just for chakras/life force generators, but for many parts of healing. It’s easy to trust in ‘the higher good’ if the healer doesn’t truly believe that there will be any effect in this reality – and many don’t. One of the reasons that people drop shamanism is the reality of the changes it incurs. Too real to ignore. Many people find that scary.

Hi Stephanie

The chakras spin belief I resonate with is all the same way for peace and harmony and every other direction for power. But this is really advanced intuitive corrective interference into the body energy centers. As paul say it's not "giving reiki for the greatest good".

They always give out life force power which is neither positive or negative as that is their function, irrespective of which way they are turning. 🙂

From my experience if they are spinning in different directions to each other then they are working in opposition to each other, this might well give a sense of being more powerful because the physiological responses that will manifest from that set-up will appear to be greater, though that does not indicate that they are creating more power, as this type of set-up often indicates an inner conflict between our different aspects of consciousness.

Imagine being emotionally torn between two people or wanting to be with someone who no longer chooses to be with you and you will get the picture, when someone is in harmony and balance they do not feel powerful, they feel complete.

The good news is that they spin in alliance with our core way of being, so unless we sort out that which is causing them to spin in opposition to each other, they will within a short time revert back to the state which depict the way they are, which is why we do not teach our students to perform this type of work on the introductory workshop, we get them to get a general sense first and work with that, then when we are ready to give them the tools and conceptual understanding to create a lasting change, we teach them how to manipulate them as well as creating a change within consciousness to reinforce the change. 🙂
