Hi, I've recently been reading something about Duane Flowers and the 30day reiki challenge. Just wondered if anyone had heard of him/it and any opinions, thanks.

Just read the page linked to. It's actually very interesting.
As Reiki is "the spiritual method" (to quote Usui himself), then why is it surprising that those who practice Reiki become accessible (and able to access) to the spirit world - not all of which is of the light?
Now I believe, as per Maureen Kelly's book "Reiki and the Healing Buddha", that Reiki is the gift of a Buddha who has pledged only to do good for humankind. This is why Reiki can only do good, and no protection is needed.
I was recently the subject of a psychic attack, and while I sought help from a friend who specialises in this sort of thing, he told me to use Reiki to remove the attack, and it did indeed work.
So I trust the Reiki and it will protect me - which is roughly what this guy was saying on that page.

That's what I had clicked on and it doesn't seem right. I don't personally believe there is a dark side to reiki. It all sounds very dodgy, DF website, so I think I will go with my first instinct and not look into the 30day challenge thing any further.
