No Just ordinary people, labels can encourage ego. You tube ok, BUT discernment is everything.

As a Reiki Master your focus should surely be inward for personal insight rather than outside for the knowledge of another; self healing should bring clarity of thought right.:)

Better to listen to who you are inside and make your own way 🙂

Modern Spirituality is riddled with so much marketing flim flam (hay i was gonna say bull****!) designed to feed expectations and make money.

Nobody works for Spirit, why? It is quite likely that whatever this "Spirit" will have you do involves over riding the freewill of another human being under the guise of you knowing best

How do I say this nicely... No.

I am not a Reiki master/teacher. I have accomplished a training and certification, but I have a mission. Reiki is just part of that mission. I am not sure exactly what it is or how it will look.

I know that I am not alone. As we travel towards the source; the path will have others of like mind and spirit. I am looking for the others. This chatroom is the closest thing I have found.

A label at this point would be welcome. Like minded growth oriented seekers wanted, to share the journey.

yes we are.

not only those of us who work with energy and the subtle but also those who work with solid matter- from gutter cleaners to most awakened spiritual masters.-ALL are light workers for the light is exactly the same at the core. Without that core nothing works.
All is manifest, functional and playing ball in that alone. No matter what the line of work, what state of mind, what understanding...that light is always at the core.

Flow of existence has no compartments/departments of any kind It is just one continuity. Light and darkness is of mind. The core favours neither light nor darkness. It is totally unconditionally present in each sentient being in each particle of creation.

So the energy worker is a light worker and so are medical doctors, nurses, gardener, farmer is a bricky, garbage man, lorry driver for every role is essential for smooth flow. The Physical is subtle energy and energy is subtle matter. No divisions. One. All is one organic unity beating together.

All playing in the lap of god...doing whatever, all the same no heirarchy/divisions other than in mind.

Hi Stephanie

We are whatever we perceive ourselves to be, but if you perceive yourself as being separate from the source and as such having to travel towards the source, then where do you perceive that you originate from?

Hi

In regards to missions and purposes many have them . Many are conscious of what they maybe and some are unaware also .

On another level one's purpose doesn't exist or one's perception of them matters not . On another level they matter a lot and will hold great meaning to them .

In regards to lightworker/s this can fall in to one's mission or life's purpose .

There can be an individual balancing act occurring or something on a grander / collective scale happening .

Perhaps at the end of the day one is just emitting their own light and there own energy signature . What that light does on an individual or collective scale happens and we can attribute meaning and purpose to that or one does not .

Hi Gulfcoastmf:)

I maybe right or wrong but In my view - It may be highly likely someday you may arrive at becoming a Reiki Master Teacher.
You may begin to notice a sense of subtle inner growth more so than the need to feel a purpose of the giving of healing aspect.

Reiki may well be your mission as you may feel it should be at this time in life which is fine. Reiki may help you grow as a person both internal and external. Bit by bit the ego begins to subtly separate or should I say you become more aware of to a point where you begin to learn about the ego and what it is all about and in turn finding a part of yourself possibly not experienced before due to the ego covering this part of you up.

These moments can be daunting and may raise many questions to your life, on occasions questioning your meaning in this world as the ago begins to become less of a voice and drive. The ego may well always be present yet you may begin to differentiate its presence to this quiet other part of you.

It is early days Stephanie and I am sure you will have much loving support as you ride this path, this may not always seem to be the case which may contribute from defenses, but allow yourself to be open to others without expectations. Reiki in the beginning may feel as it is turning your life upside down, others who have traveled this path may offer their experiences and views but the way to understand these experiences is by going through them yourself which I expect you may have started to do so.

You know the Reiki path can be overwhelming, confusing, wonderful and amazing all at the same time and can leave a person dissociate at times as we grow along the path, growing towards finding ourselves. Hang in there, go with the flow, become the observer as reiki takes you forward.

You are not alone, there are many others who also follow before you. Consider others who have tread the path before you as climbing up a spiraling mountain, with the odd cloud covering on the path, each person along the path stopping for a moment shining a light back down the path for you so you can find your footing, looking up wandering what its like where they stand on the mountain, yet as you continue upwards you too get there and find out for yourself.

I use the mountain not as a point of showing who is higher in growth but more of others as yourself growing in awareness. Labels are important for the time they are needed in one’s life and as we see the value of until a time comes where you find your own understanding in the purpose of having a label. In this world we live in labels may help in the existence in the material world.

There are many likeminded people on HP all at different stages of awareness but all of who had to go through growth ending up at the stage they are in now. Some experiences and views maybe shared with you that may not mean anything to you at this point but will make sense as time passes. This is fine. Acceptance is a loving friend.

I can recall the early days of joining HP. The ego really had a hold where I felt Reiki 1 was the best thing that had happened to me and I wanted to tell everyone, heal everyone and my everyday life seemed to have been put on hold. I had psychic experiences, bought the books, crystals, you name it, been there..got the T shirt.:) I felt a sense of popularity which in turn supported the ego,s belief of its new found power of reiki. I became annoyed when others I felt more aware than I began to share what it was I felt, this was against what I was feeling and believing at the time, ‘How dare they! Don’t they know I am Reiki 1??.

What an awakening I had, painful and on occasions disbelieving but certainly an important part of my growth. At times thinking to myself ‘Who are other people to say how my life is and what I maybe experiencing and how their wonderful healing words are working on me?. No thanks I am waiting for “ The source” to tell me these things’ mmm?.

The penny started to drop for me, I began to become aware we all source; we are the voice to each other and all in one voice. I expect many others may connect with certain experiences on their path as mine. I began to connect and value certain parts of another’s view, their experiences and wise words. I took what was of value to me and discarded the rest as I still do today.

Today looking back, phew! What a roller coaster!! But today I am very content to have come through and to be who I am today. Through years of personal development I am not afraid of being transparent and will share whatever part of my live in order to help another understand and feel someone else has been there.

Take your time; let the growing process take you. It is important you feel comfortable in expressing and sharing your growth, Enjoy the mountain climb; watch out for the shining lights of others if you lose your footing now and then. Take what you feel is of value to you and discard what is not 'at this time' .:)

We are whatever we perceive ourselves to be, but if you perceive yourself as being separate from the source and as such having to travel towards the source, then where do you perceive that you originate from?

But I am not always connected to the source? If you have a near death or after death experience....you travel towards the light or the source. When you return to finish your mission, you leave the source.

When we meditate or do healings we ask for connection to the energy or the source. Then we may have wisperings from our spirit guides but I think we desire to be "like" the source in loving kindness and a forgiving nature.

I feel that we are somewhat separate from the source while we are embodied.

But the whole lightworker thing? Are we part of an evolutionary process to raise the vibrations of the planet? Are we part of a movement to usher in a golden age? Could the energy work we do, be part of a reconnection to our better or more source like (God like) selves.

But I don't want to "arrive" to be a Reiki master/teacher. I want to arrive at "enlightenment".

When I say "I am not a Reiki master/teacher"...I mean that is not my identity. That's not my destination. It's a growth process and part of my attributes now. Like...I learned math and I use it in my life every day. It's part of the knowledge and skills I have acquired; but not my identity.

I live all these lives and learn all these lessons...for what? To be source like...I believe. Learning to have compassion and to, without judgment, tend to the needs of others; even to the point of taking on their pain.

I know, I know...if you do it right the pain doesn't come into you. These are little points of method that detract from the main issue.

What is the main issue? In this thread...are we the lightworkers? Are we part of the bringing on of a golden age, an evolutionary leap. By our very actions of using healing vibrations? Are we affecting the world?

If one is searching, then a label will be unhelpful
We all have been or are searchers of that something
It is a journey into the unknown where we find many things
It is up to us as individuals to know when to stop searching
For finding what we search for and not recognising it normal
If is feels right the hang on to it, if it feels wrong then it is wrong
When we are on a quest, it is usually the journey that is most important
What you find is not part of that journey, it is a part of living

Hi Stephanie

But I am not always connected to the source? If you have a near death or after death experience....you travel towards the light or the source. When you return to finish your mission, you leave the source.

That is the hub of the problem, the perceptual division that you have created between what is and how you are choosing to perceive yourself in relation to what is, is causing a conflict, a conflict that you are looking to rectify by becoming something other than what you are, rather than accepting yourself and allowing yourself to simply be. 🙂

When we meditate or do healings we ask for connection to the energy or the source. Then we may have wisperings from our spirit guides but I think we desire to be "like" the source in loving kindness and a forgiving nature.

That might be the way that you choose to perceive thing from a position of separateness, but I do not perceive things that way, I accept that I am complete within the fullness of self and I am also complete within the fullness of everything.

I personally do not desire to be like anything, nor do I strive to be like anything, I am happy to simply be.

As we are all an integral aspect of the oneness of consciousness, then I do not personally perceive the oneness as anything, I certainly do not perceive the oneness as requiring judgemental labels of loving kindness nor does it need a forgiving nature, as it is non-judgemental in nature, so there would be nothing to forgive, we only require forgiveness when we judge something to be wrong. 😉

No, you perceive that you are separate from the source, so you find it difficult to perceive that anyone else can be one with the source.

As for lightworkers, the reality is the everything is one outside of our divisional perceptions, the world does not need saving, it is as it is to allow human beings to experience a diversity of life experiences, cultures and relationships, etc.

If you wish to experience a golden age, then can I suggest that you let go of your divisional perceptions of separateness and embrace self in an open an non-judgemental way, you can then create and experience a golden age within the fullness of self. 🙂

It must be peaceful being where you are Paul. I like where your mind is.

If you really are where you present yourself to be, then you have achieved what I am striving for. Understandings and knowledge and I bet you didn't land there without a journey.

Each person on here has their "flavor". Their skill sets and talents. They are on a journey or feel like they have arrived. Unfortunately some feel like they have the answers to how everyone should "think" (or feel) and if you don't think that way they you need to...what? Fall in line and behave?

While others glory in our diversity and the journey.

I think I got what I needed from here and it's time for me to move on. Things are progressing very rapidly for me. I came at a time of fear. You have helped me through it. People have been kind and this has been a learning experience.

Thank you.

Hi Stephanie

Sometimes when we stop striving and trying, then another way becomes apparent where we can simply be and flow, yes due mainly to my own misunderstandings and stubbornness my journey was long, but I now no longer perceive a journey as I am not trying to get anywhere or become anything, I am now happy to be, I hope you find what you are looking for and you will be as happy as I have become. 🙂

Yes, Stephanie is free to choose to embrace any given way of being that she chooses to, each way of being will create a different life experience, it is only when a way of being is at odds with what someone wishes to experience, that it becomes a problem. 🙂
