Another question. I am qualified in maternity reflexology and have worked a lot with pregnant ladies but recently been approaced by a lot of ladies having fertility problems. I have two questions:-
1. Does anyone know of any training dealing specifically with sub-fertility. I have already done Moshe Krusich's courses.
2. Would any kind person like to share any tips with me on how to treat PSOS in terms of frequency and timing of treatments? I know of some techniques but any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
Hi
Susanne Enzer has a 2 weekend course and the first weekend is preconceptual care and pregnancy. Also there is a place in South Wales outside Cardiff doing a course in October this year - this is from his email to me
"We have a Reproductive Health Course - The Mind/Body Link running in October at a cost of £195.00.
There is further information about the course on our website:
Reflexology Academy for Reiki and Reflexology Training near Cardiff, Glamorgan, South Wales - Inspira on the CPD page."
Hope this helps

Thanks again Melanie for your responses. I was hoping to find kind of a focussed course really. I don't want to travel that far - I'm in the North East and already went down to south Wales to do two of Moshe's courses. I'll keep looking though. Thanks for your help.
Hello Ambermoon,
I run Fertility Reflexology training. If you are interested, feel free to PM (Private Message) me. Other course providers are Susanne Enzer's maternity reflex and Louise Keet's.
I'm happy to share some tips for PCOS.
- With fertility I usually recommend treating weekly for at least 2 to 3 full cycles. With PCOS cycles can be very long, or even non-existant so again I'd recommend weekly treatments for as long as possible. If a more regular cycle is established then treatment once or twice per cycle, especially before ovulation, may then be enough.
- In the treatments I'd recommend lots of hormonal balancing. Susanne Enzer's endocrine balance is a great technique here which I also teach in my training with her permission. Lots of working around the endocrine system and especially the ovaries. I particularly recommend the linking techniques from Precision Reflexology, which again I teach with permission from Jan Williamson who runs full Precision Reflex courses. The link for PCOS I use is linking the ovaries reflexes and the adrenals - you do this by gently holding the reflex on each foot until you feel the energy between them balance. And then switch to the other foot.
- Because PCOS clients may have long cycles and not know when they ovulate, I recommend they start fertility charting and teach them how to do this so they can see if they ovulate and when.
- And I always always always recommend that PCOS clients look seriously at their diet. I recommend The PCOS Diet book, and encourage them to cut out all refined sugar. This step alone can balance hormones and encourage a regular cycle back. I've seen this happen with one of my clients just now - and the very first time she ovulated she also got pregnant - yay!
I hope that helps.
Sarah
It does Sarah. I will pm you. I have some experience with Suzanne Enzer and Jan Williamson techniques - both of which I use but only from reading their books. Your course sounds Ideal except for the distance between us!
