Hi there
If you were offered a room for rent how much would you be prepared to pay for each day. The rent would include use of phone, beverages, all bills, use of equipment etc.
Would you prefer a private room with you on your own?

RE: Renting a room
Hi there,
I guess this would depend on whether you were a new starter, or a therapist with an established business.
From my point of view, as a fairly new starter, it would be a difficult business decision to pay a daily rate for a room, not knowing whether I would even have any clients!
I would prefer to pay a percentage split for each client seen, that way, no clients, no outlay!:)
An established therapist would find it cheaper to rent a room, knowing exactly their outgoings every week.
Just my opinion:D

RE: Renting a room
Hi, our Centre is in the North West, about 10 miles from Liverpool on the Wirral. We charge £7 per hour and £18 a four hour session, but it is cheap and will go up soon. We don't really make anything out of the therapists and only manage to cover our overheads.
If you want to see what we offer so you can compare, take a look at our website.
The prices includes room, telephone calls to therapist and client, bookings, reception cover (not all the time as we can't afford anybody) advertising, website. We don't supply oils or towels, I do all the cleaning!
Most places take 40%, I have paid that myself and some of our therapists do at other centres.
We don't take the money, it goes direct to the therapist and we bill them for the room at the end of the month.
Our heating and telephone bills are huge, our rent isn't too bad, our rates are high.
If you want any more info let me know.
