In my opinion based on some 25 years in both practicing and teaching Reflexology, I advise the following -
1. Only treat a client if you want to.
2. Only treat the living!
3. Only treat where there are no contagious/infectious diseases that may harm oneself.

If there was any danger of applying Reflexology to the feet, the, surely, a GP would/should advise pregnant women and others not to walk on a beach for fear of pebbles over-stimulating reflexes and resulting in miscarriage or exacerbating other health problems (apart from localised foot problems). The mis-information being regularly perpetuated through badly written books and ill-informed teachers is most disconcerting. Who in entitled to say what is "official".
I believe there is no such thing as bad Reflexology - only bad Reflexologists!
Share what YOU learn with your teachers!

I believe treat clients who want to be treated.
You will feel and know you should.
Follow what you feel.
Give a full treatment and extra where you feel drawn too.
Always consider your own health and well being.
Do treatments with good intent.
Thank you Anthony.
Sue
