Morning all,

I have been contacted indirectly by a mother looking for some treatment for her young daughter who suffers from hemiplegia. She is specifically looking for someone to utilise Kinesiology taping as (I believe) she has been recommended this elsewhere (this needs more investigating on my behalf as the contact was from a supplier of a brand of K Tape).

Has anyone had experience (good or bad) in a case such as this? Or alternatively, know of any worthwhile reading on the subject? (My good friend 'Google' hasnt been much use!!)

Many thanks,

D

Hi there,
I would suggest that this posting is better suited in the physiotherapy section, as I believe it is a condition that would be managed by physios as opposed to sports therapists.

A good place to start would be the CSP for advice.

All the best.

Now moved to the Physiotherapy forum with a redirect left from the Sports Therapy forum for good measure. 😉
