I was wondering if anyone knows of a good UK based (or with easy and/or cheap P&P to the UK) website/company that specializes in herbal teas? I am currently looking for herbs that will help with bronchitis, or smokers cough ,and expel phlegm from the lungs and throat. These include: plantain, chickweed, violet, hyssop, horehound, thyme, echinacea, comfrey, licorice etc, etc.

I bought licorice tea from a Thai supplier on ebay and I have to say I am very surprised at its good quality. I am no fan of licorice normaly, but this tastes more like honey. It is overwhelmingly sweet and DOES cause me to expel some phlegm. The taste lingers for a while and then disappears only to subtly return when I go for a cigarette!

Unfortunatly, the P&P was rather expensive and it took 3 weeks to arrive. Any advice guys? And don't say stop smoking 😛

I dont know if this will be useful to you but I know of a company called Sensory Solutions that sell herbs that can you can make a drink from - not sure if this counts as 'tea' but the p&p looks reasonable.

Have you tried the brand "Yogi" teas. They do a really nice licorice ayurvedic tea - about £1.50 for 20 bags. You can buy them in Holland & Barrett and other health food shops.
