Morning all,
I have just found out I have Polycystic Ovaries, and have over the last 6 months or so noticed my hair thinning dramatically.
Can anyone recommend a natural remedy to restore my tresses to their former glory? (Either this or I will have to resort to a wig)!

Thanks for any replies

Sessy;)

RE: Hair loss

Hi Sessy,

What you've got is called Androgenic Alopecia and is caused by the excess of testosterone in your body.

I have PCOS and also suffered from hair loss prior to being diagnosed. The good news is your hair will grow back once your hormones are balanced and the testosterone levels drop. It can take a little while ~ about a year with me.

Saw Palmetto is a helpful herbal medicine (normally used for men with prostate problems) but also helpful for reducing the testosterone levels in women with PCOS.
