Could any of you experts suggest. Any natural remedies for people wnating to quit smoking tobacco. I am well versed in mind therapies and would love some suggestions from other sources. I work with people who want to quit and not every one wishes to use nictine replacement therapy or Zyban.

😮 thankyou

I have read that inhaling essential oil of Black Pepper is useful for helping with nictotine withdrawal although haven't tried it out.

RE: Any suggestions?

have you tried hypnotherapy? another good trick is to suck a sugar free looly when you crave a ciggy. that helps give your hands something to do. take up a hobby doing something to take your mind off the urges and keep your hands busy. unfortunately the cravings never fully disapate they weaken but never go away.

I agree with DeAngel23, Hypnosis is a great reliever of the cravings.

Blessings.

Hi

I would recommend a good Vitamin B Complex, also a good hypnotist as mentioned here can really help.

Best Wishes

Hi,

Tabacum (30c) is the homeopathic remedy for tabacco, that people use to help them give up.

You can try dr and herbs, the shop used to have a course of acupuncture and some packs of herbal combination to help people quit smoking. It is said the successful rate is over 90%. But I am not sure whether they still have this service or not.

RE: Any suggestions?

Other suggestions would include:

* Auricular, TCM or 5 Element acupuncture.

* Homeopathy.

* Lobelia tea, vervaine, chamomile & there's a few others on the tip of my typing fingers.

* Nutrition - Vitamin B's to calm the nervous system, multiminerals (including zinc that can get displaced by the heavy metals, i.e. cadmium).

* NAET allergy treatment - allergy & addictions are very closely associated.

* Aromatherapy massage.

* Reflexology.

Also, check on the Addictions & Allergies Forums under ailments & if this thread gets moved, then you'll find it under Addictions.

Enough to be going on with methinks. 😉

And.
