Question to those of you who do mobile work? Do you bring bolsters with you?

I dont have a car and it is becoming frustrating carrying my bolsters aswell as my table around london in the cold weather:(

Maybe someone has an intelligent solution!

I never take pillows/bolsters - I always ask the clients to supply. I used to get them to supply a blanket and spare towels too, for particularly cold days. If I was seeing more than 5 people, I just made sure that I had a clean couch cover for each changeover. There is a limit to the amount you can carry, especially if you don't have your own transport!

I agree with Jabba, I use clients stuff as much as possible. Because it's their belongings, they like the comfort of their own stuff.

But want if LuckyG goes to offices? So Lucky, what is your criteria for a bolster ie width and length?

Going off topic, before getting a car, I once attended a MBS show and had to get my couch etc there and it was a mile away. So I borrowed a shopping tolley (which I did return back to Tesco's) and carted my stuff to the venue. Happy days!

Also agree with the others. There is a limit to how much you can carry and even with a car, there are limits to how many times you can trail backwards and forwards to the car! I don't take any bolsters with me but do take a couple of cushions, if i need anything else than i use what the client has.

I agree with you all. I visit offices a lot so they are necessary. Its not the weight but the size of them! They range 60-70cms long and I can get by with two.

I will struggle on looking for a solution!
