It's usually insurers who get blamed for this sort of nonsense but to be fair I've never heard of any who have refused to pay out as long as the therapist has behaved reasonably professionally.
Thinking about it, I've never heard of any serious claims against any reputable therapist in 15 years of working in London and running an on site corporate company.
Many of these changes seem to be coming from trainers who are anticipating what insurers will/wont accept. Maybe they're over reacting?
