Hello

I am thinking of building on my ITEC Massage qualification by studying at Body Basics for their Advanced Body Work/Sports Injuries course. I am looking to increase my skills, but have decided am not necessarily wanting the full Sports Massage Qualification (with SMA accreditation) at this stage.

I am attracted to this course because of the additional skills covered and it offers intensive blocks of study which suits me as I have to travel from the Channel Islands.

Does anyone have any experience of Body Basics as on their website it all looks very good but don't know of anyone who has actually studied there.

Any comments or other suggestions would be appreciated. I am not necessarily limited to London.

Many thanks

RE: Advice on Advanced Bodywork course

Hi there,

I'm Tracy from Stratford and I live round the corner to the Body Basics College. Early this year I studied there for my Diploma in A&P Holistic Massage. I couldn't recommend this college more. I thoroughly enjoyed the course, the tutor was marvellouse, he managed to open a door in my brain that had been shut for a long time.

I even got a Credit in the final exam.

Bhavesh is the owner of the college and he is a wonderful teacher - I'm sure he will take the course you want but if not he will have another good teacher for it.

There was a lot of students on my course who travelled from far and wide - one hotel that one of them stayed in and liked was a B&B called the Park Hotel.

However keep your wits about you when in Stratford it is not the most desirable part of the country.

Regards
Tracy
