Greetings!
I am a qualified massage therapist with a ITEC diploma in Holistic Massage from The School of Natural Therapies. (Also qualified in Deep tissue and Indian Head.) I became qualified in May 2013 and started working with the public that autumn. Since then, I have treated over a hundred clients, many who come with specific needs like Sciatica issues or pains from car accidents 10 years on for instance. I want to deliver more bespoke treatments for them and develop my deep tissue work. As it stands I offer a full body relaxation massage routine with deep tissue on the back for varying durations. I want to be more confident straying from the established routine and looking after my clients specific aches and pains. Please can you recommend a suitable CPD course (i.e remedial?) I don't mind a longer course, because I want thoroughness and to really get to grips with it. Ideally in the South as I live close to Gatwick in Sussex, so London, Brighton are all good locations!
P.s I don't want to go into Sports Massage unless I really have to, I don't like the clinical approach and don't want to work with athletes, just the general public i.e. office workers with bad posture, sciatica etc.
Many thanks in advance,
Warm wishes,
Kate
