Hello!

I was just wondering if anyone has experience using this brand of chair for back, shoulder, neck, head and arm treatments?

I'm looking to invest in a chair with an ergonomic design that is lightweight (v important,) easy to set up, take down, clean and comfortable for the client and therapist. Any feedback of using this make welcome, also alternative suggestions would be great.

Thank you!

Robyn xx

hi robyn i bought one of those chairs last year after completing my holistic massage training. I have found it very useful for doing treatments you have described.
I have also used it in situations where the person cannot get onto a massage table for various reasons, poor mobility etc. More recently i have used it with my hubby as he had damaged muscles in his back and couldnt lie down on the table.
I have also found it very useful for massaging my niece with cystic fibrosis, when her chest is bad she prefers to have a chair massage.
It is light and comes in a carrier bag or at least mine did, although sometimes i find it awkward to get into the bag. It is easy to wipe down and put up and take down.
I did notice though that some people dont like putting their knees up on it and opt to keep their feet on the ground instead.
Hope this helps

Hi Robyn,

It looks like a standard chinese import massage chair, which is identical to mine.

I've found good for doing taster sessions, but have to be careful if the client is over 100Kgs because it can slip open. There is a restraining tether to stop it fully opening, but still can be a shock when it happens.

HTH,
Myarka.

Used the chair at my OSM training!

Hi there
I used one of these chairs when I did my on site massage training and found it very easy to use. I ordered mine and it was delivered next day. I have found it easy to use and store. And for the price including next day delivery, I think you can't lose.

P>S> I don't work for the company!

Just done a quick search. Have you seen this? Sport and Leisure are selling one for £49.99. Free delivery. Looks as if it is only in pink though. Offer ends 30 September.
