Hi Doolin

Relax, enjoy and practice (most of all have fun), I did a course in IHM last year and it took me ages to get my routine right (to start with I couldn't remember everything) as to how I wanted to do it, I took some of the moves from the course, but also incorporated other moves/techniques myself.

do let us know how you get on.

Hi doolin, I'm sure you will really enjoy the course, IHM is my 2nd fav treatment to give, so relaxing for the client and for you! Practise and more practise is the key for learning the routine, then you can start adding and adapting the routine to make it your own. There are several books you can look at but I'd focus on what you learn on the course first to avoid confusion. Enjoy! 🙂 Tracey

Hi,
Indian Head Massage

Indian head massage is a head, face, neck and shoulder massage that has its roots in the Ayurvedic system of healthcare. The aim is to release stress that has accumulated in the tissues, muscles and joints of these specific areas. A range of different techniques including deep kneading and compression movements and gentle stimulation of pressure points are applied to the neck, shoulder, scalp area and face.
