Hello All,
My stones are not holding heat as i think that they should. I have been told that i can recharge them buy putting them outside in electrical/rain storms, or leave them outside for 40 days and nights. Does anyone find this effective or recommend anything else?
I keep them in a wooden box with sea salt and should keep the charged with Labradorite. Does it matter if i only have one labdarite stone in the box or maybe more? I have seen Labradorite bracelets and thought i could use lots of smaller nuggets instead. Any suggestions?:)
Thank you xx
Hi I put all my crystals (tumbled) in brown rice, I just use them when needed and pop them back into the bowl with rice and its very effective - the rice bowl even gathers dust. I've had it for months now and may have to use the rice for cooking someday.
My stones are not holding heat as i think that they should.
Have they ever held heat well? Is not holding heat a change for them?
If they've never been good at holding heat, it may be you have stones that don't hold heat well. Different compositions hold heat differently, not all stones hold heat well (eg pumice holds practically no heat, basalt holds it well).
If your stones have lost their heat holding ability, get them outside. 40 days/nights sounds nice, but is probably a bit of overkill. Electrical storms are very good, but just getting them connected to the earth again does help. That means you can't put them outside in a plastic bucket and expect them to recharge, they need to be on the ground. Letting them stay outside in a full moon, and in sunlight for hot stones, does help, doesn't have to be 40 days/40 nights.
Thank you both for your help,
They are natural basalt, i havent had them long so maybe they need to good charge. I shall give them the weekend off and put them in the garden.
Cheers,

hi there i place my washed and oiled stones in an energy circle at night when im finnished with them, that sceams to help.
i have known therapists to put their stones in a cloth bag in a running river to re energise them.
kind regards nicola
if you have not had the stones for long maybe you just need to train them
when I got my stones I left them in the kitchen and turned them on for an hour at a time whilst I was home
my stones didnt hold the heat very well to start with but the more you use them the better they get
I wash mine and dry mine and then put them back in the kettle with a large lump of labrodorite that my friend gave me
I also stick them out on a towel covered tray when it is a a bright sunny day, that seems to help as well
If you cant leave them outside in the sunshine you can soak (hot) stones for 24hours in salt water. Cold stones in the moonlight.
