Forum
hello there,
as many others i have been reading the EFT thread and read about it in another thread a couple of days ago. since then it has been on my mind, and i have so many questions!!!
firstly is there a website that someone can recommend that i can go to which tells me about it? i would like to know what it is all about etc and what it helps.
i have tried going on the gary craig website but unable to load it up (has any one else had problems???) - what is all the GC cd about? does it teach you just from the cd, will that teach you enough to practice on people? (also how much does the cd cost???). people were talking about work books as well which you get a certificate from.
god i have sooooo many questions its silly, so i will stop now and go from here, but if anyone could help me out that would be brill!!!
thanking you in advance.

RE: EFT
Hi Sarah!
Gary Craig's site is at - you said that you're having trouble loading it up.. Do you mean the site or the free manual? If it's the manual you may need to download Acrobat Reader or update your version. You can do this from a link on the site. If you can't get into the emofree site at all maybe there are problems with it at the moment. (I just tried it and it took a little longer than usual but I did get into the site)
There are 4 different CD sets by Gary Craig. The first (The EFT Course) along with the manual teaches you allt he basics and you can take a exam alongside this via email which will give you a Certificate of Completion which means you can use the letters EFT-CC after your name and will have a certificate to show clients and give to your insurance company. The next 3 sets are advanced EFT and they have just started an exam on the 2nd set which will give you the qualification of EFT-ADV. Each CD set costs around £39 (incl P&P) - I just got my credit card statement so can see how much it is in £ instead of $!! - and the EFT-CC exam is around £49. However if you buy more than 1 set a once there are huge discounts.
Once you have the CD's you are allowed to copy them no more than 100 times but only from the original, so I would be quite happy to copy sets 1 2 and 4 for you (I have 3 as a copy!) but once you've bought the blank CD's and paid for postage there's probably not much difference in price. They really are very good value.
Also on the emofree site join the mailing list which gives regular updates and info about EFT.
From learning just from the CD's (and asking lots of questions on here!) I feel fairly confident about using EFt and have started to do so with clients. However I would still like some face to face tuition so am looking at doing an advanced course later this year. There are practitioner courses that start from scratch but once you've done the 1st set of CD's you will know all this. Again the emofree site has details of different courses.
Welcome to the wonderful world of EFT!!!

RE: EFT
hello again sarahR
thanks for the info. but alas, i still cant load up the site for Gary Craig! so havent even tried to download the manual!
i was wondering if it would be possible to copy the CDs from you? (its just i am at the moment VERY short of money so even tho they are good value i havent got this sort of money to buy it with) - but if i could have them copied that would be great, if thats ok with you? my man works for a computer company and they have blank CDs all the time, so thats no trouble. do you want me to PM you with details?
thank you so much for your kind offer.
really frustrating that im unable to get on to the site.
is the manual on the site the manual you work through to take the exam? so you just have to pay for the exam then? and the insurance people will take this exam to insure you?
so how are you getting on with it? do you find it works???? what sort of things have you treated? (if you are able to give that info out?).
thanks again for your offer of copying the CDs!

RE: EFT
Hi Sarah!
That's a shame you can't get onto the site - hopefully you'll be able to another day. of course you can copy the CD's - PM me like you said and we'll arrange it.
You work through the manual AND the first set of CD's to take the EFT-CC exam. The manual is also on the first CD as an Acrobat file so you will be able to read it even if you can't get on the site at the moment.
As far as I know most insurance companies will accept this qualification - that's what others on here have said. I'm still waiting for my exam to be sent so haven't checked with my company yet.
I'm getting on really well with it and it definitely works!! In myself I have used to to overcome the fear of public speaking (with Jonathan), completely get over the fear of needles (which I did part way with hypnosis before) and have used it for axiety as and when it crops up. I used to hate being a passenger in a car in the dark on unlit roads, but after a few rounds of tapping I now find it quite relaxing!!
I'm beginning to use it with friends and clients. The other day I used it with a friend to overcome her wasp phobia. It only took about 20 minutes and she could then quite calmy imagine herself having a picnic with wasps trying to get her food. She said she would just swat them away - no problem!!
Look forward to hearing from you.

RE: EFT
BTW Rainbowheart, I love the new name and pretty butterflies!
EFT is great; Dez, Sarah & Jonathan on here introduced me to it and now there's no turning back. It's kind of like you may wonder how you managed before you had your first internet connection.
RE: EFT
Thanks Suzanne, did you guys print out the free manual? just wondering how much paper and ink it would use on my printer,[sm=scratchchin.gif] How many pages does it print ?

It uses a lot, it's about 89 pages if my memory serves me right. IMHO, the videos are a better idea, and they're cheap enough. There's a link on my EFT page you can use if you're having any problems getting through on . Or you can print the manual on the rough setting on the printer to save ink.
RE: EFT
Hello Periwinkle
There are actually 6 video sets and they are all worth watching. I have just returned from the US where I was at one of Gary Craigs workshops. Just keep practising.
I run workshops and like to have multiple of three. So let me know what part of the country you are and as you have pleaded poverty I am sure I can squeeze you in (my good deed for the day)
RE: EFT
