Hi everyone! I'm new to this and have a question about the Isis crystal formation. I've read that the two sides leading up from the base of the Isis face should be shorter than the two leading to the point. I have a crystal with a dominant 5-sided face however the two sides leading up from the base are almost the same length as those leading to the point. Is this still considered an Isis crystal?

yes it is still an Isis crystal, basically the Isis is a crystal with 5 sides that surround it's main face. in general the bottom ones are usually shorter, but the faces of the crystals all grow slightly different in length. Just as long as there are 5 sides to the main face it is a Isis.
There actually can be slight variances.. but Hippi is on the money with this reply.
