Hi, im a bit new with crystal healing and recently one of my clear quartzs fell into the floor in my house, the gemstone is still in one piece but a scratch(not very deep) appeared in the middle of it. My question is, the stone still has the energy?
Thanks!

I would assume it needs re-energising . I was taught my crystals need to be charged on a reasonably regular basis.

It's Ok if a crystal brakes or gets scratched. To me it doesn't effect the energy of the crystal.
I have a couple of crystals that have broken or have chips or scratches on them, that's perfectly Ok.
Blessings,
Veronica

The Breaking Point:

The crystal you crystal is very strong and can handle that type of fall.. But I wouldn't recommend you allow it to fall more than one has to.. In our case.. I spent months hand crafting an amethysts then presenting it to my wife.. only to have it fall from my hands upon handing it to my wife. The crystal chattered into three parts and no chips.. thus I'm continuing to work on these last three parts of a greater puzzle..
Batted and Torn.. it will survive.. thou a bit shaken.. I would ease it back into your ritual very slowly.. you have to allow it to regain your trust in the knowing you not going to drop it again.

That's such bad luck, when you say hand crafting what were you making?

Seeing this is a family oriented site, The Amethyst was shaped like a banana and about as long.. Use your imagination..

All this is so much simpler if you can speak to the crystal's spirit directly - and hear/understand the answer of course.

I do this through shamanic journeying, but there are probably other methods.

Yes, there are other methods, but not everyone believes in the idea of spirits. Many people just use crystals because they are pretty or a nice shape in some cases lol @ Stone Whisper.

True @Cassie and going by looks alone doesn't get the job done.. one must go beyond what they see or hear and focus on what they can't see or hear.. It's sort of like if you asked me what this mineral was.. without clear pictures or even posting images.. I can't tell you what it is.. offering just looking at the crystal I get a hint as to it's origin.. Yet there are those that feel and have scoffed at my semi identification technique simple because they don't believe the stone/crystal can talk. Holding ones crystal can prove beneficial also, but frowned on afterward.. the common trait of holding someone else's stones isn't recommended. However, assuming the stone has yet to be identified or ever brought into a practitioner's habits.. the stone is at free will.
