I have just brought home with me the most beautiful piece, with lots of stories to tell going by the inclusions, rainbows and mists inside it. Its quite large and been in the shop for quite some time, the owner told me....perhaps it's been waiting for me;) ... I like to think so anyway 🙂
I know there is a lot of reading matter about regarding a double terminated quartz and their purpose but has anyone any personal use they can share???

Your DT quartz sounds lovely! I was taught a technique for back problems on my crystal therapy course where you use quartz DTs along the length of the spine.

ooh your crystal sounds beautiful Fleur, I always feel enchanted and grateful when I have one with a rainbow inclusion, for me personally, my own rainbow included crystals help me feel positive and uplifted. I usually use my double terminators for flowing energy in two directions, for example I sometimes find it difficult moving energy between the sacral chakra and solar plexus, so I will put a double terminated quartz between them and that helps the energy flow. And because I think it is important to bring the light fully downwards to the earth, and bring the earth energy up, I find the double terminator helps with that two way flow.:) I also use mine to disperse pain. But as you said, it is personal experience, so maybe the best beginning with a new crystal is to meditate with it and see how you experience the vibration, because I feel no crystal has the same relationship with another person, and even crystals of the same type can end up becoming your friend in a different way. 🙂

I know that double terminated clear quartz can be used for intrusive energy removal! But it has to be completely flawless the more facited the better (I maybe thats is because the contentration of energy is greater ((not sure?)) they are actually called vogal wands in fact and made in a factory. Probably not helpful for you but an interesting fact perhaps none the less.
A friend of mine uses double terminated quartz's to make tincures with the energetic vibration of different sacred places he visits - I think he uses the quartz's in circle formation to direct energy into water. But I willfind out more when I see him. pm me if this is of interest to you and I'll keep you informed 🙂

The vogel wands you describe are cut with 12 sides and consist of a male end (narrower) and a female end (wider) designed by Marcel Vogel, they have a very high vibration and energy flows through them in one direction, i think the DT that fluer is describing is a natural quartz, one that has not been cut. As mentioned by Meurighj DT's are good to use on injured areas of the body where they can help to repair the etheric body. I also agree with pure-ki that they are very good for helping with the flow of energy between chakra centres.
