Just a question, do the owners of shops that sell crystals have a list of people who cannot enter the shop, for instance if they are pregnant, have cancer, heart problems, pace maker?
When people come to you for crystal healing do you have the crystals in the same room? Until you have spoken to the client and taken a detailed consultation, will you know if that person has one of the contraindications?
Many homes have a variety of crystals, do we stop everyone at the front door, how wide an area from the house should someone with the contraindications keep away from the house should we all start putting up signs keep away if you have ............,etc?
I'm sure you can see where I am coming from. Crystals are everywhere I think we must accept that they are there all around us and question where did the belief that these so called contra-indications have come from? If someone could explain it I would be grateful.
Many thanks

therapy insurance generally often doesn't cover people for certain things across most therapies, always advisable to check your insurance.
I don't think that's an easy generalisation to make.
Insurance policies vary a fair amount. My previous one did not cover me for telephone work, my current one does. Neither made mention of not being able to work with people who are pregnant.
As you say, it's best to check an individual policy, and if appropriate swap providers for better cover. Also check the wording. My current one talks about not "treating" two specific ailments, but I'm clear in my explanation to clients that I don't 'treat' physical conditions, I support the body to heal itself. I also get my clients to read and sign a short statement to that effect.

Good point!!
I've been following this thread with interest. I do see that people have to work within the constraints of their insurance policies but I've always felt crystals to be a totally supportive hamonious entity so I find it hard to imagine that there could contra-indications.
It's sort of like saying showing someone tenderness and compassion could damage their health - how so? They are a positive energy not a negative one.
Just my humble opinion.
