I think your crystal is sand blown snow quartz. Libyan desert glass is almost plasticky and pretty smooth to the touch. Libyan desert glass doesn't easily have lots of sharp ridges and corners all the way round, like the one with the picture you've shown. The energy of the Libyan is also different from quartz: initally intense around the solar plexus and sacral, it kind of mellows out over time. For me quartz, in general, goes up and down in different chakras over time.
okay only two months to respond! been a nomad for the last couple of months, well thankyou you may well be right about the snow quartz, I am not sure if i will ever know! but will experiment with the differences in the energy they give off (not that I am a crystal specialist!) but i will see what comes up xxx
