Now might be a good time to ask your local acupuncturist about pre-season treatment for hayfever. A short course now may be helpful later in the year when the pollen starts up.
A register of qualified practitioners can be found here-
You can do a local Google search too. Always check how may hours training any practitioner has had. In general, Classical acupuncturists do 3,000 hours of learning, which includes 400 hours of supervised clinical training.
thanks David - not in your area, sadly, as my daughter's hayfever has started - daffs and pussy willows!
Good shout David - I have found acupuncture very effective for Hay Fever. Well worth a shot for anyone who suffers...
Hiya, I suffer with hay fever really badly it usually hits me early spring every year and zaps the energy out for me for most of the summer. Having tried all of the over the counter remedies I had become ressigned to the fact that I was stuck with it!
However the Dr recommended the Hay Fever Clinic Hay Fever Treatments - Allergy Advice - Hayfeverclinic.co.uk they discovered the pollen that I am allergic to which is different at different times of the year, makes sense but didn't know this before! they provided me with hay fever remedies which fingers crossed has worked so far this spring/summer. Hope this helps you and your daughter out : )
