I echo what others have said about ending any wishes/spells with harm none, or asking for the most appropriate outcome etc.
Yes you can do spell work inside, that's the beauty of spell work, its portable. 🙂
My only advice on the candle front is to only use that candle for the wishes you have envoked in it already, don't use the candle for new wishes as I feel that it dilutes the previous intention. You can extinguish the candle as you wish especially as its not wise to leave a candle unattended when lit. You can also light the same candle for a short period over a series of nights to continue the spell if you feel its necessary or desirable.
Spell work is about what feels right to you. Expect a few unexpected results and learn from them. I've been practicing for a number of years and I get it wrong from time to time, but I've also learnt from what has occurred.

When wishing for something, it's so true to be exact. I knew one fledgling witch who was inexperienced. She wished for some money but without qualifying it. The following year her dad died and she inherited in his will. Another also wished for money, a death occurred and he got the insurance money.
I refuse to cast spells for anyone else, since a friend asked me to 'break up her boyfriend's new relationship.' This was done with the intention that he would return to her. I cast a spell for her (stupid thing to do) and once done, I told her never to ask me about it (it was part of the spell.) She couldn't keep quiet about it, and asked me every opportunity she had. The spell worked in that the boyfriend's relationship broke up but he didn't return to her. Again, this was when I was just starting out.
Casting spells must be done with extreme caution and preferrably using an experienced witch to guide you.
