I am sorry to be the bearer of sad news.
Personally, I feel neither sadness nor elation. But I do feel sorry for you and the thousands of people who signed the online petition to save shambo and the millions who could not.

I am aware that certain posters in this MB find my use of font colours objectionable. For their sake, I have not used any formatting on this post myself. However, I have not altered the formatting used in the skanda vale website (reproduced below), because I believe that it reflects to some extent the depth of their feelings.
The welsh assembly government has finally desecrated our temple and taken Shambo away to be slaughtered.
There is a new petition to save shambo even at this eleventh hour. For
Govardhan Charitable Trust
are requesting the Government to spare Shambo from slaughter the trust is happy to take Shambo if they are given time to organise the transport.
