Hi All,
It's a marvellously inspiring read. I knew of the book since the 1970s but never acquired it when I saw that it wasn't from the historical period i.e. scholars wouldn't approve, and I wouldn't know if it was accurate of not either, I felt then. However I now know more on Akasha, and the intro to the book, explaining the role of Akasha in its writing, rang quite true. So now I have it. The physical book is easier to read of course, but the site does have the whole text.
Today I read this part, as Jesus was aged 12. Yes, this is referred to in the Gospels, when he was discoursing with the temple priests, and his parents were frantically searching for him. But here, if we accept it, is the more complete record from Akasha. Quite a scene:
"AGAIN the great feast in Jerusalem was on, and Joseph, Mary and their son were there. THe child was twelve years old. 2 And there were Jews and proselytes from many countries in Jerusalem. 3 And Jesus sat among the priests and doctors in the temple hall. 4 And Jesus opened up a book of prophecy and read:
"5 Woe, woe to Ariel, the town where David dwelt! I will dismantle Ariel, and she shall groan and weep: 6 And I will camp against her round about with hostile posts; 7 And I will bring her low and she shall speak out of the earth; with muffled voice like a familiar spirit shall she speak; yea she shall only whisper forth her speech; 8 And foes unnumbered, like the grains of dust, shall come upon her suddenly. 9 The Lord of Hosts will visit her with thunder and with tempest, and with storm; with earthquake, and with devouring flames. 10 Lo, all these people have deserted me. They draw to me with speech, and with their lips they honour me; their hearts are far removed from me; their fear for me is that inspired by man. 11 And I will breath upon my people, Isreal; the wisdom of their wise men shall be lost; the understanding of their prudent men shall not be found. 12 My people seek to hide their counsel from the Lord, so that their works may not be seen. They fain would cover up their works with darkness of the night, and say, Who sees us now? Who knows us now? 13 Poor, foolish men! shall that which has been made say of its maker, He is naught, I made myself? 14 Or shall the pot speak out and say to him, who made the pot, You have no skill; you do not know? 15 But this will not for ever be; the time will come when Lebanon will be a fruitful field, and fruitful fields will be transformed to groves. 16 And on that day the deaf will hear the words of God; the blind will read the Book of God's Remembrance. 17 And suffering ones will be relieved, and they will have abundant joy; and every one that needs will be supplied; and it will come to pass that all the foolish will be wise. 18 The people will return and sanctify the Holy One, and in their heart of hearts, lo, they will reverence him.
"19 When Jesus had thus read he put aside the book and said, You masters of the law, will you make plain for us the prophet's words? 20 Now, Hillel sat among the masters of the law, and he stood forth and said, Perhaps our young rabboni who has read the word will be interpreter.
"21 And Jesus said, The Ariel of the prophet is our own Jerusalem. 22 By selfishness and cruelty this people has become a stench unto the Elohim. 23 The prophet saw these days from far, and of these times he wrote. 24 Our doctors, lawyers, priests and scribes oppress the poor, while they themselves in luxury live. 25 The sacrifices and the offerings of Israel are but abomination unto God. Dear Kim,
Well in The Aquarian Gospel, Jesus is not Egyptian. But in line with Cayce, Egypt is said to have been in those times the inner Source of wisdom. It was THE place to go for deep spiritual training, though India and elsewhere too of course.
Mary's appearances above the Coptic Church in Cairo, late 1960s - yes! A Catholic friend actually had a copy of a copy of a... of a photo of her taken on the roof, glowing in Light. I begged him to have it for a day and copied it, still have it...a photo of Mary. Seen every night in glowing light on the roof of that church by literally tens of thousands. Almost every night for months, so people could rely on it and turned up in droves. Many photos exist. A web search could be interesting. She only stopped appearing when the Egyptian authorities started charging admission to the area. Rarely, among the many Marian appearances, there was no spoken message, but the messages were symbolic: most nights, glowing doves (peace) would fly through the sky i.e. for peace in the Middle East.

Well I would say not only in those days but still true today although I found it was more divine training and initiation when I was last in Egypt.
Well I feel I resonate with the native indigenous egyptians more then the mediums in this case. For when there is serious trouble or illness one goes home for respite, recuperation and safety not spiritual training. Big smiles! And as much as I have the utmost respect for Edgar Cayce and more then most, he has not been accurate in all cases, no more then any other well known mediums.
Also interesting that the Egyptians to this day with passion claim Jesus as their own, but yet the Jewish religion did not. We also know that the best and biggest spiritual library in the world was in Alexandria, so nowhere better to train then in Egypt at that time. I think it was started by Serapis Bey (but you probably know more about this then I ) and I feel it was here that many ancient texts were taken to Rome and not all destroyed as is recorded. Sorry I digress!
I am just sharing my feeling from my soul here not attached to whether it is truth or not. I rarely resonate with 100% that is written by any author, it must be the zany aquarian that won't follow a receipe exactly, she takes the bits that resonates and leaves the rest behind, but yet that does not undermine the quality of the receipe or the authenicity of the book. Seriously though like you, this book came into my awareness many years ago, but I have never read it and it sounds fascinating. Like we say the timing is always perfect.
I am puzzled why they called him the Christ at that point when all you state he was doing was reading from a book? I could understand it more if they had been his own words in the treasure that they are.
Mary's appearances from memory and old searches, I vaguely remember that there have been appearance much more recent then the 1960's as well. I think it was the very first Coptic Church in the dessert but cannot be sure. Which is still open if you can find your way there.
Interesting that some of the words/phrases mentioned above are also mentioned in the Essene and Thomas Gospels.

PS It would be interesting to get Hugo's view on whether it is possible that Jesus could have been Egyptian although I don't buy into the scholar and author Ahmed Osman that he was King Tut. He claims that that all the OT figures, Solomon, David, Moses, and Joshua are based on Egyptian historical originals. He also provides a convincing view that Jesus himself came out of Egypt and that St Paul, as he indicates in his letter to the Galatians, had been initiated into the Egyptian mysteries by the Gnostics in the Sinai. His book is called 'Out of Egypt'. As I am writing this the Hiram Key is ringing in my ears. A fascinating bestseller 'The Hiram Key' and Jesus practising the king-making rituals of the ancient Egyptians. Also some contraversial info in this book on Paul.

Well if we take Egypt as a sub-thread here...
Nothing whatsoever to suggest Jesus was born there. Since the Gospels, the Apocrapha, and even Levi's Akasha tell the same story of the Nazarene and Bethlehem. Hugo? 😉 Not to put words into his mouth, but remember Hugo is not 'for' the one-Jesus account in any case, so I suppose several messianic figures born anywhere you like may fit that role. But then again, not. There were definite prophecies about where the Messiah would be born and his 'nationality' which Hugo will know more about, and if he had been born abroad he wouldn't have fulfilled prophecy so wouldn't have been accepted, most would say.
There's a political thing about Egypt and its past. The likelihood is that the present Egyptian race had nothing to do with the ancients, the Wisdom, or the monuments. That's one reason they've stopped researchers digging up more evidence on the great antiquity of the Sphinx: they like to think it's their's but now as discussed some months back geology demonstrates it was in existence around 10,000 BC.
Precious little outer wisdom in Egypt today IMO. As everywhere it has tended to go underground or is hidden from profane eyes.
It isn't really surprising to me that he'd be acclaimed the Christ to be able to discourse like that - and apparently for days like that, at age 12! In fact, according to the Aquarian Gospel, Herod died and his son who succeeded him was driven out of Jerusalem. After that, for a period the priests openly knew of his miraculous birth, the prophecies before it, and he trained once full year in the Temple.
This gives some insight into how remarkable a figure, who would obviously catch the attention, Jesus was as a child according to The Aquarian Gospel (which we have to accept on faith - or maybe rather, discernment - remember, for it's not a conventional historical account):
"THE home of Joseph was on Marmion Way in Nazareth; here Mary taught her son the lessons of Elihu and Salome. 2 And Jesus greatly loved the Vedic and the Avesta; but more than all he loved to read the Psalms of David and the pungent words of Solomon. 3 The Jewish books of prophecy were his delight; and when he reached his seventh year he needed not the books to read, for he had fixed in memory every word.
"4 Joachim and his wife, grandparents of child Jesus, made a feast in honour of the child, and all their near of kin were guests. 5 And Jesus stood before the guests and said, I had a dream, and in my dream I stood before a sea, upon a sandy beach. 6 The waves upon the sea were high; a storm was raging on the deep. 7 Some one gave me a wand. I took the wand and touched the sand, and every grain of sand became a living thing; the beach was all a mass of beauty and of song. 8 I touched the waters at my feet, and they were changed to trees, and flowers, and singing birds, and every thing was praising God. 9 And some one spoke, I did not see the one who spoke, I heard the voice, which said, There is no death.

With this you touch the multitudes, and every man becomes a messenger of holy light and life. 13 You touch the waves upon the sea of life; their turmoils cease; the very winds become a song of praise. 14 There is no death, because the wand of truth can change the dryest bones to living things, and bring the loveliest flowers from stagnant ponds, and turn the most discordant notes to harmony and praise.

Only one problem with this, (and correct me if I am wrong) but I heard that the town of Nazareth did not exist at this time. As for the theory that Jesus was King Tut, NO WAY!! Other than that though, a very inteteresting thread. This book has also been sitting in my cupboard for what seems like eternity, maybe I shall take it to Lundy next week for a good read.
