A good beach

Hello, Does anyone know of a good beach in the UK? My definition of a good beach is, a beach which is not excessively populated with people (nothing worse than a crowded beach), preferably a beach which looks untouched by humans... I have found an amazing beach in Scotland which fits the bill, but that is too far for a 1 day trip. I live in London. Any suggestions, also I think I am asking for something which is impossible close to London.
