I qualified in Sports Massage almost 2 years ago and I also do other kinds of massage. Although I do quite a bit of sports massage in the clinics that I work in I find that I don't use all of the techniques I've learned often enough as I'm not solely doing sports massage. Is anyone else in the same boat or just wanting to practice? I'm looking to practice techniques with someone/a few people so that I can keep everything I've learned fresh in my mind.....it's very frustrating when I remember a technique or muscle test once a client has left the treatment room!
If anyone is interested in doing practice/sharing sessions or just hooking up for experience exchange then let me know.
I'm based in Kingston Vale (SW15) at the moment soon to be moving to Teddington. I also spend quite a bit of time around Ealing and Kew. I have a couch etc and I'm happy to travel. I am also currently setting up a home based clinic in Kingston Vale where I'll have 2 hydrolic couches so we could even do swaps in a group of four......so if the swaps are going well there's a possibility that we could make that happen.

Appologies to you guys for not being in touch.... I have been extremely busy. I'm just finishing off the first year of my degree and my work sort of exploded at the same time! I'm going to have to delay swaps for a bit at least until end of May so I'll post nearer the time.....sorry about that!

I am going to Windsor tomorrow to do a sports massage course. I am signed up for the full year Diploma in September but I thought I would enjoy a day out and get to know a little more about sports massage.
I am qualified massage therapist and have set up from home but not doing too well with getting clients through the door. You are a fair way from me but would be happy to travel or you are welcome to come up here. I am in Finedon, Northants.
