Hello. I hope you can offer some friendly advice 🙂

I'm researching training institutes which offers flexible/ distance learning in nutritional therapy. I'm aware that the NTC is an emerging body and that accreditation is yet to be put in place. But I see that College of Natural Nutrition isn't on the list of educational establishments at all, but the Nutritional Healing Foundation is. I prefer the course at the College and the location of its seminars are much more convenient for me. My priority is to train with a reputable college which adheres to high standards and offers flexible training options.

Has anyone studied at either of these places? Any advice is most welcome.

Generally, researching training organisations has been quite confusing - some places require students to train for 3 - 5 years before they qualify as practioner, and others only require one year's intensive study....

Many thanks,

hi,

i have not studied at either of these colleges or know much about them, but i was in the same situation as yourself last year trying to decided on a good acupuncture course. most of the courses are 3 years long and some were offering 1 or 2 year courses. i would be wary of any college offering such a short course. these type of professions require alot of studying and skills take a long time to develop, so my advice would be to take the long term course. i also found that if you go to the college itself and talk to the people running it, your instincts will tell you which one to go for.

i hope this helps a little!
