Hi!
Thinking about enrolling for the ITEC Anatomy and Physiology course. Can I get some feedback on it - whether you've done it yourself, was it good/bad, detailed or not, what did you do afterwards and whether you were able togain employment? It seems an awful lotof money and i want to make the right decision!
Thanks in advance for replying to me.

RE: ITEC A & P Course

Hi Sharon,
I did A+P with Holistic Massage on an intense course with 'Body Basics School Of Massage' in Stratford.

I was a bit aprehensive while looking for a course as they allseemed so pricey. However, this one was a little cheaper than someand looked like it covered more with a smaller number of students per course.

I have to say, I found it brilliant. The tutors are so dedicated to giving you the best guidance and reallymake you feel at ease.Being an intensive course it's fairly fast paced butthey make sure everything is covered in detail andkeepan eye onyouto make sure you'rekeeping up!

They also prepare you 100% for the ITEC exam which everyone passed on my course with flying colours!

After qualifying I'm now self employed as a mobile therapist and loving it!

I strongly recommend this school. Have a look at the website [link= http://www.bodybasicsonline.co.uk ]www.bodybasicsonline.co.uk[/link]
and see if it's suitable for you...

Good luck!

RE: ITEC A & P Course

Hi Sharon,

I am in my second week of an ITEC A&P course. I'm really enjoying it....we are onto to the Endocrine system and I 'm finding everything I'm learning fasciniating. If it conitnues this way then I will be pleasantly surprised as I thought ITEC might not provide the in depth training I wanted.

I'm not sure what sort of prices you have been getting, but have you tried your local adult education centre? My course lasts 17 weeks, every Wednesday 6.30pm - 9.30pm and has cost £168 including the examwhich for the class time involved I felt was really good.

RE: ITEC A & P Course

I did mine a few years ago, ITEC are well respected and their courses are suitable for anyone going into complementary therapies. The syllabus is quite comprehensive and covers most of the stuff you will need for general therapy practice. You will need A&P in order to gain insurance to practice most therapies.

I enjoyed my course, had an excellent teacher who motivated us all and put some context into the work delivered. It a;sp set me up for my other courses so was very pleased with my choice.
