Jo, thanks for the reply, yes I definitely want to do it, will look at the next available dates.
Good luck Mel for Friday, hope you enjoy it as much as Jo did.
No a&p, just about moves and techniques, I still read the a&p beforehand, it's a good refresher 🙂 Enjoy your course, let us know what you thought
Did my Advanced Deep Tissue Massage course with Marc Innes and it was fantastic. I really enjoyed the day and found it extremely beneficial. I learnt so many new techniques. Marc made the day very enjoyable and informative. It's a shame he's not gonna be a tutor for Gateway anymore, I think it will be a great loss to them.
It is a lot to take in, but you do get course notes to refer back to and there's a CD if you want to purchase it. I agree with others on this thread, you must practice afterwards.
I hope anyone else who's going to do or has done a Gateway course enjoys it and benefits from it as much as I feel I did.
Mel
Hi guys, this is the first time I have posted, but felt compelled to comment, I have been thinking of doing some Gateway courses, but after reading all your positive comments,I will definately be booking some very shortly.
Hi
I know what I'm about the say isn't going to go down well, but I don't care!
I've done a Gateway workshop with Marc Innes and he is a good & knowledgable tutor, and I wish him the best. But I do disagree with Gateway and other training providers giving out Practitioner Diplomas for what is really an attendance workshop. There was a time that receiving a practitioner diploma meant you worked your arse off, now they are given away like sweeties. Eventhough there is benefits in one-day intensive workshops with a small group (I run them myself but issue a CPD certificate of attendance to qualified therapists with A&P at level 3), but to hype people up with fancy titles isn't a step forward for CAM, but ultimately will give it a bad name.
