Hi has anyone attended any Gateway Workshops and if so what was your overall impression of them? Although at the moment I do Reiki, IHM, crystal therapy i am looking to undertake some training in something else. I know their courses seem to be just one day...so I guess they are more like a taster....would anyone recommend their courses? Thanks

Yes I did IHM with Gateway and another therapist I know did hot stone reflexology and hopi ear candling with them, within the last 9 months. I think it all comes down to the tutor, as we had differing experiences let's say. The courses were good value and fairly small groups which is always a bonus!

I did my reiki with them which was brill, but ihm not impressed im afraid, how ever overall i have found them good to deal with and i would use again.
I would also add that i leared more on an ihm taster day at my local adult ed. college, the routine was ok but the a&p was skipped over not such a worry for me cos i am a practicing therapist but not so good for these with no experience
Yes I will be doing my 3rd day course on 15th September, (advanced and deep tissue massage), I found them to be great, and the manuals are invaluable, people often say how can you learn in 1 day, but really these are mainly add on courses and you should know the gist anyway, I have come away very confident in the knowledge that the next day I can earn from whatever I have learned. I have had 2 different tutors and both were great in their own way.
