Advice please on word interpretation

Is there anyone who can advise me on how to answer the question when asked to "make a brief review of ..." whether it is the same as "write a review of ..." My thoughts are that the 1st one is requesting an overview of the subject, not necessarily with criticism and the 2nd one is a critical review with arguments for and against. This has to be in by Monday, so I can't ask my tutors! So any helpful suggestions please :D Thanks so much

what is the course and what level is it,
critical reflection is a higher order task usually on courses of level 5 and above
have a look at Blooms' taxonomy for words and phrases acssociated with each course level,
