I got this link from a friend. We tend to plan mad-cap ideas and set a date to when we'll do them then actually do them. This is one that I hope he realises is a joke from me? I told him I'd meet him there to explore, with lots of rope, in 2012...
But a fascinating link all the same:

Hi Venetian your friend is probably terrified to get back to you. Thanks for the link it is fab I also lost a bit of time looking at the crystal mine, would love to see it one day.
Love and light
Linda.
ps hope the knee has recovered
Hi Linda,
No, he is not at all terrified of me, as it is he who almost always gets us into mad-cap things, lol.
Current RL projects include the fact that just 3-4 miles from Land's End, leading off from the beach into the cliff, there was a seemingly never-ending cave going back inward. It was our last day there that we found it, so were unable to return with lighting to "do" it. Then there are untold miles of unexplored catacombs below Sousse, Tunisia. TBH I don't think we'll truly get back to that one. I like going where no one has gone before - the Sousse catacombs must be 1800 years old, no one has explored them, and the dust on the ground is clearly 1800 years old. TBH I was astonished that I got so spooked by them, but I did and I'd never be able to spend days in there alone; it would have to be with my world-travelling pal, who just reported in via Skype from Australia in the real Outback.
This is utterly off-topic, but thanks for mentioning my knee. I can't explain it, but there's a subject there very relevant to HP. Having got back to big fitness and sports, I injured it in a silly way in early August and have been basically slowly limping ever since. This went on so long that I wondered if it was a permanent loss of fitness - ouch! I'd hate that. Just 12 days ago I had an appointment to assess whether I should have a knee operation.. I felt nothing else was working, so said "Yes". As I sat there, it was as though an inner voice spoke. As they arranged the operation, I went out into the offices and cancelled it. Within two days, I swear, a massive healing began. I'm being careful, but I can now run a bit for sure, I can certainly hike, and am just waiting till I can resume contact-sports. All this in 12 days. It is simply astonishing.
I've kind of taken it 'in my stride' (sorry for the pun!) but I think you could call it a miracle.

Oops, I meant to say good news about your knee!
Hi Judy,
Yes, thanks.
But these caves sound astounding. I aim to look up more info on them. It sounds as it the entire country has a "second country" underground - that there is no solid rock as it were.
It reminds me of science-fiction stories or in fact ideas which particularly in the 19th century were believed in; a "hollow Earth" and all that.

Absolutely breath-taking! Thank you for sharing the link Venetian.
really lovely to see them, maybe I should put them on my bucket list
That sounds fantastic and mysterious, I'd probably be too afraid to go in though!
