I'm not going to worry about emf, really you shouldn't either. There is something that does concern me but I'm not sure how far the develolpment has progressed. It is the transmission of power wirelessly. This will truely bring a wireless revolution, no batteries required. The positive impact will be tremendous but as with any new technology there will be drawbacks, I believe this discussion will have greater relavance when this happens.

we do not use modie phones and we will not let the kids have one
better to be safe than sorry i say when it comes to kids

Wireless power is something that has been attempted since the Victorian era but is, as far as I'm aware, not likely to be possible because of the impact that air has in terms of resistance and conductivity.
Experiments have shown that if enough power is pushed down a wire then the electrons actually travel (in a spiralling orbit apparently) around the outside of the wire rather than through the wire, but that is not something that would likely be used commercially as it serves no real purpose in that sense.

RE: Wireless danger

A single 2.4GHz signal coming from a cordless phone or your typical home networking router may not be of any harm to the individual within exposure but I do wonder if the mass amount of different radio frequencies that are constantly flying around do have a subtle effect on us.

Ive scanned signals before and there are definately a lot out there. Not to mention cellular phone signals, wide range audio and video antennas for your car and home television.

You all had questions about whether this may cause cancer or disease. Perhaps not...not directly.

What caught my eye was the reply earlier saying that the number one cause of disease is stress and worry. As difficult as this is to prove its also just common sense.

The body may be cells and DNA and matter but there is energy (frequency) that drives it and molds it from the unseen worlds around and inside of us.

If anyone has ever seen the stickers on the bottoms or backs of electrical devices you'll have most likely come across the statement "This product complies with FCC regulation blah blah and may be susceptible to signal interference" right ?

Well our energy passes through and overlaps these spectrums also. Thats how you can feel and smell and see anything at all because those signals ping and get crossed with one another. So in my opinion it is very possible that an abundance of signals in the air with longtime exposure that should require further study into the energy fields of human beings can very likely be a prime cause of overall stress. And therefor disease or illness due to the stress and lowered immunity that follows a wearied mind.

And to top this subject off maybe thats why since Ive moved away from West Virginia I have had trouble seeing anything outside the spectrum of the five senses. I wonder if my sensativity to all these frequencies hasnt somehow shut off my third eye. Where I came from the technology was so behind that the airwaves were most likely a lot more clear and natural.
