Did last night google Wikileaks & UFO's and was highly disappointing. Lots of way out speculation and some boring diplomatic comments.
Am not surprised about the "boring diplomatic speculation"....
I think very little is really out there in the open.

Many of the posts in this thread, going back way in time now, try to be objective and 'scientific'. When it comes to this kind of thing, it's impossible to offer proof. I read the article in Metro today, and thought it was brave of him, given his position, to speak up. But now I'm watching the related video interview with Simon Parkes - that's the real meat. To many people it'll sound utterly mad, but in fact in confirms thousands of such experiences by people from around the world. What I'm finding interesting in this video interview is the fascinating detail he recalls from childhood, of 'Ufonaut' contact .... and of fully-human Men In Black (the term didn't begin with the film: the film copied the real-life term that existed) involved in all this.

Anyway, found some more info on Captain Thomas Mantell. Seems he chased the UFO to such an altitude that he passed out due to lack of oxygen, then crashed in a farmers field. There are some strange details about the crash however, including the way it landed. Also another witness says it exploded in the air.
