I listened to this man on the radio and he was fascinating. I plan to buy his book. Here is a link to an interview.

Thanks Learning for posting this, it's very interesting. I posted years ago about Bruce Lipton.

This is what I was very grateful for:

The reality is this – we require no drugs for healing; true healing only calls for a change of consciousness.

Thanks

I have come to the conclusion that we are not designed to act as individuals, rather like the bees that support the hive.
A few times I've been told that we must learn to love ourselves and only then will we be develop. I do find this goes against my grain as I believe that the love for others unites and strengthens our journey.

Regards.

I think the usual gist of that though is the question of how can you start to love others when you can't find the love within your self. You have to love yourself before you can love others. It's not necessarily a matter of how we are all connected as one, it's a matter of recognising that our true nature is love but it is clouded by our 'negative' (for want of a better word) emotions and ideas. When we can heal ourselves; release the negativity we have about ourself, we can then find the love that is our truth and that connects us all.

It's also clear on almost any spiritual path I know of that it isn't this or the other. (Do we love others or ourselves?) Spiritual Paths are usually successful as a combination of ... if we don't just think of it as Love but also as Progress or advancement - becoming better people, put primitively - then we ourselves grow in helping others, but we can also better help others if we ourselves 'grow' or become better able to help (less veils of consciousness). There are clear examples in the world of where each of these ways are practised almost without thought to the other, and little if any good comes out of such imbalance.

So IMHO it's both, as one aids and boosts the other. (I really don't like the idea of us being like bees. A hive? I've never seen them on TV, but isn't that like the mindless, heartless Borg in Star Trek?) 😮
