RE: join amazing mind experiment!
Good points V... I think it could have been designed better because there is already enough evidence for the power of intention. For me this is a publicity stunt -- in the very best possible way. (Have met McTaggart a few timesover the yearsandlately have been impressed by her sincerity and humility. Sheispersonally making changes to herselfand so she is certainly no hypocrite... really lovely person.)
I think once mind is involvedit is very difficult to pin things down anyway because it is theultimate variable (which is why orthodox science refuses toconcede mind over matter).

RE: join amazing mind experiment!
Hi A,
That is really nice to know that you know her and can attest to her sincerity.
I didn't mean to put a damper on this thread ;)- but if it is supposed to be 'science' - it isn't. If you get an effect, there is no way of saying or proving that x-number of people were responsible. You simply cannot, in an experimental way, link A to B. However, if it works anyway in a spectacular way, then it would be most interesting.
But it could be the janitor who turneddown the heat?
RE: join amazing mind experiment!
V, your comments were very relevant and I completely agree with you that the experiment could be designed much better to give more specific information. I commented on McTaggart's sincerity only as a qualifier to the comment I made that this is probably more for publicity (in a good way) than a parascientific investigation. I agree with you about the janitor... they can be very annoying (did you ever see the film Good Will Hunting??)
