I don't know the details but I'm sure scientists have concluded that this is the basic building blocks of life, and how it needs to come about. It IS proven.

Was human DNA itself altered overnight? As a hypothesis I wouldn't discount interventionism, which is not evolution.
Funny you should bring that up 'V', asIIRC, there is a sudden addition of over 220 genes to our DNA at some stage of Human evolution... they come straight in <sideways> so to speak... no gradual genetic change - nope 'whamo!' - almost as if engineered in... Yet science says "err, we're not sure but we think humans traded them with viruses.. errm probably?... dunno!" 🙂

Ok I seem to have confused some peeps here regarding my thoughts on it! Sometimes I try and put thoughts into words and it just comes out wrong [8D]
I originally meant to say life in the spiritual sense must have required some form of ID. Then I agreed with Patsy that life in the physical sense does conform to natural law. Ok?
btw 'Interventionism' - what a great word! Must add that to my meagre reportoire 😀

Thanks for that. I am not going to contribute to this thread any more. Religion is the cause of most wars, and I don't want to start a row over God with my friends. We all regard God in different ways, and I think it's best left at that.

this debate is really entertaining.l can't resist but to throw a little oil on the fire with a statement that is based on absolutely nothing but my opinion...
Intelligent design is a way to justify theories of evolution that cannot be scientifically tested.These theories do not give any solid concrete evidence to support even a shred of the claims made. Yet intelligent design claims to be on par with current scientific findings that have been intensely and properly qualified.
IDhas found great successin drawing interest and with the interesthas managed to reap huge amounts of money, pay huge salaries, get huge donations and have inspired a whole social and economical community that continues to generate money through books, seminars, and other forms of drawing conclusions based on absolutely no scientific findings....
This is truly an intelligent design!! 😀
