trin &northstar,

If you keep on insisting that you don't exist then I guess I'll just have to go and remove your users from Healthypages. Can't be having non-existent members now can we. 😀

(only kidding!)

RE: Nothing doesn't exist...

we have no international defination on existance

I wouldn't be so sure of this, William Shakespeare gave a brilliant definition of existance and non existance in his play Hamlet, "To be or not to be".
Since this play has been translated into every possible language, I think we already have an international definition of existance, which is to be, and non existance, not to be.

RE: Nothing doesn't exist...

good point seaway! But it still isn't universal because it isn't in every language...
anyway, l thought about nothing and didn't try to make it into anything and then l remembered how nothing is really something. It is by viewing the nothingness around an object that the artist can see the something.
It is by taking what is valueless, thus deemed as nothing, that you can get to the core of an issue, or a problem you are trying to solve. It is the very nothingness of the extranious that can define what something is or needs to become...

just some musings for what they are worth, which is really nothing!--northstar

Not really into science but this topic caught my attention.

Just one small thought.

Since the world works in balance, the sun and moon, day and night, good and evil, then if there is something there has to be the opposite which is nothing.
