RE: Has anyone seen Comet McNaught?
I think to see it from the UK you must have to time it JUST right. I was outside at dusk at 4.45 PM (half-time in a football match ;)), the sun was already down, a crescent moon was out, the sky had cleared beautifully, and I could see about 340 of 360 degrees of the horizon -- but no comet.
So I'm presuming it has to be caught exactly on time before or during sunset here? (Before 4.45, maybe trying from 4 PM on?)
Edit to add: Then again, those photos on the BBC link above look darker and later than it was here at 4.45, so I've no idea where it was!

RE: Has anyone seen Comet McNaught?
I saw it about a weekor so ago. Very impressive. I tried to get some photos but I am a terrible photographer and they didn't work out (I blame the gales we were having, lol)

RE: Has anyone seen Comet McNaught?
Here in Australia (at least where I am in Canberra) we can see it at about half an hour after sunset (about 9pm).
