I don't think anyone knows exactly what is going to happen, an ice age is possible even if it does seem to be the complete opposite to global warming. I believe scientists were concerned about the Gulf stream shutting down which would throw much of the Nortern hemisphere into an ice age but they have recently proved that it is unlikely to.
Climate change has happened in the past without any human involvement but I also believe that we hasten the process of climate change.
I absolutely agree, healthoption:047:

I agree that climate change will happen anyway but when you look at some figures, the human race is not doing much to help.
Some believe (I did at one time) that volcanos were one of the largest producers of CO2 on the planet and this was accounting for global warming.
However if you look at the figures as detailed in these articles:

http://www.hawaiinews.com/archives/volcano_watch/000440.shtml
http://environmentaldefenseblogs.org/climate411/2007/05/21/volcanoes/
You will see that volcanos account for less than 1% of total emissions. Something like 130 million tonnes of CO2 from volcanos compared to 27 billion tonnes from humans emissions.
Eeek!

Hello All
Back in the 70's scientists were worried about us being overdue another ice age.
I would say that as we are currently experiencing a period of warming when cooling would generally be expected means that humanity is influencing the climate.
