It's been a strange St. David's day - being on a Sunday. Haven't seen any kids in Welsh costume or anything.

What would a welsh costume look like??? I wouldnt know.

Happy St David's Day to all our lovely Welsh members!

I was visiting in a Welsh Hospital this afternoon, and a yummy tray of homebakes were being wheeled round for all, by some lovely local residents to wish the patients and visitors a Happy St David's day. It was heartwarming.

I remember going to school on St David's day in my welsh costume, the girls with daffodils, the boys with leeks, all in the school hall for a mini-Eisteddfod - the place stank to high heaven of crushed leeks by midday, when we were set free as it was a half day! Seems so long ago now......
