RE: Hi to everyone from Lancashire
Hello there!
I am a Lancashire lass too.I originate from Lytham. St. Annes - very close to Blackpool. Infact I used to be able to see Blackpool Tower from our bathroom window - just thought I would share that with you all!!:)
Dreamer I hope you make it to the Trough of Bowland, it really is lovely up there, well worth the trip. I really, really miss living by the sea. This is one of the few times in my life that I have not lived by the sea. I have been lucky enough to live in Devon and Gibraltar too. I am just outside of Lincoln at the moment, we live here because of my husbands work. When he finishes though, I shall be straight back to the seaside! It is in my blood now!
Nice to know there are fellow HP peeps from Lancashire.
With love
Jacquie [sm=love-smiley-009.gif]

Hi
I'm in Blackpool too but originally from Aberdeen in Scotland.
Miss bonny Scotland but finding some lovely countryside around here.
RE: Hi to everyone from Lancashire
Hi Jenna,
Opposite journey from me - Lancashire lad who moved to Scotland.
I love the hills here, I'm right at the foot of a good range, but I do miss the Lancashire coastline, sunsets over the Bay, driving through the Trough of Bowland in autumn, proper Lancashire cheese, Red Rose Radio, local accents ..... oh dear .... I'm feeling quite homesick now

RE: Hi to everyone from Lancashire
Hello all,
I've just updated my profile ands realised what a great network there could be here.
I'm a chartered physio who works holistically and spiritually. It's been hard working in the orthodox world of the NHS and now I'm out on my own and feeling a little lost and a lot lighter.
I want to combine my wealth of knowledge and experience with my intuition and 'higher' knowledge and be able to help people while making enough money to live.
Any ideas and advice/experience would be gratefully received.
Rach

RE: Hi to everyone from Lancashire
Warrington here, originally Rainford! x
hey Katink, not far from you - im in Chorlton, Manchester
Dragonfly - if you want to meet others in the same boat to share experience etc, then Chorlton is a great place for it - full of high spirits, therapists (alternative and conventional) artists and the like...all in the same boat - seeking to make enough money to get by while still helping folks...
ive got two biggest pieces of advice -
Word of mouth is king - best way to get enough to sustain is making people happy enough to talk to other people
Advertise - it hurts, its a pain, it doesnt always seem to be worth it, but you gotta....and it doesnt have to cost lots either...
if you say what area you in, may be able to refer local publications etc (eg manchester has a great little mag called body and soul thats issued free with good circulation and its not to expensive to advertise in - not good for my field, but great for yours)
i know it seems obvious and dont mean to sound so, but learning the value of word of mouth has been a big eye opener for me....
Darren
Hi from another one
