Hi,
I'm hoping to set up a mobile Beauty & Holistic business in the coming months but need to improve on my speed first.
I'm therefore seeking people to do a set of Acrylic sculptured extensions where conditions unfortuantely do apply.
If you are interested or know anybody who you think may be; and live in Burnley or surrounding area's, please let me know via PM .
Cheers,
Claire
Hi Claire,
I used to teach nail technology when I lived in the UK and I always advised my students to print off cheapo leaflets from their home PC and stand outside high schools giving them out, young girls love having their nails done but not many can afford 'real' prices.
This information only applies of course if you are properly qualified, see my thread 'need to vent' under general discussions on the HP forum.
Good luck.
Love
Rebecca xx
Hi,
Thanks for your reply.
I should have mentioned that I was qualified. I trained at NSI and also use their products.
I did think about offering to children but you will need parental permission for under 16's, plus kids are a lot less forgiving and have softer, greasy nail beds so this could lead to lifting problems. And I can't afford to get it wrong.
Thank anyway.
Cheers,
Claire
Hello Claire,
You are welcome, NSI is not qualified under any circumstances whatsoever. There are worse things you can do for your career sweetie than have taken 2 mins to read my thread under general discussions.
In addition if you were profesionally qualified you would realise that nobody young, old, black, white or yellow has a more, or less 'greasy' nail bed than anybody else. Lifting problems are caused by a inproper prep done by nail techncians who have been on short courses.
Love and Angel Hugs
Rebecca .
I think you should do your homework first and then comment 'sweetie'. You obviously have no idea what these courses actually involve and you seem to have a one sided view of the people who take them. Ok, some are out to make money, but the majority like myself are very passionate and want to learn and grow. I took the course two years ago and have been practising ever since. You know as well as I do that experience and practise make you a better tech.
Why don't you have a look at where you will find many talented nail techs who have taken courses with the likes of Creative and NSI and who continue to study and grow.
I'm sure you are a really nice person, but you have come across as rude and self righteous; and people like that cannot grow any more as they already know it all.
