Hi there, yes mocks in May,along with four finished case studies, did anyone else find the mocks a good preparation for the real thing,at least you get to know the grading system and exam layout.
Slightly off topic, but my fellow Irish HPrs,did ye know that Susan Boyle is of Irish emmigrants,I thought the name BOYLE, had Irish connections.
I had to Google who she even was! i found this site about the name itself
I don't know who she is either!

I think perhaps you're referring to this thread in the Book, Music, Film Reviews forum:
and the first post on that thread does contain a link to Susan Boyle's performance on Britain's Got Talent.

HI to all,
I am not nearing exams but I am up to my eyes in Reflexology case studies. This is not as easy as I thought it was going to be. I need inspiration. Good luck to all who are in for exams though. x

Join the club, these case studies are pretty tough going, but we do learn so much from them. What course are you doing and have you other therapies?.I have been trying to learn the hand reflexology and just gave my husband a treatment,he is completely spaced out,I find this also with myself, much more than the foot reflexology. There are loads of information on here,Im sure you will find it helpful.:)
Hi guys,
I finished my reflexology case studies last month and started doing them just after Christmas, you will get through them
Exams start next Thursday so can't wait to get them over with, not looking forward to the oral questioning though

Hey starr99,
Just on line now and saw your post...I know how you feel :(I do my itec reflex.theory next thurs and have spent the last few hours studying:confused:Some times it just gets all mish mashed and that's the time to take a break..Reorganise,focus,Deep breathing(not too much or you'll hyperventilate!!) put on the kettle and have a cup of tea:D
I'm sure you''l be great, and when your in there the adrenaline will kick in and it'll all come flooding back to you.Actually when you think of it, it's all quite exciting.. pretty soon you ''ll be qualified and unleashed into the world:)
Hang in there, remain positive, try a little reiki on yourself, and just say "i'm going to do really well" over and over again..

Guys, to all doing the reflex case studies, practical, oral, written, one little word of advice is take your time. Take a deep breath and think before you rush in with an answer. When I did my practical reflex (ITEC) exam, my lady that was to be my client for exam let me down at last minute and I had to get poor hubbie to take a day off work and come in. He has ankolosing spondolytis, (a form of arthritis) so he is sitting up on the couch all stiff in upper body and his condition affects his feet big time, they are so stiff, dry and hard to work with, bearing in mind I was practising big time on the lady who let me down.
So when the practical came and the examiner asked me about my client, I told her all there is to know about hubbie's condition and then she asked me where the sigmoid colon was (????? oh .....em..... says I, completely thrown), but I asked her to bear with me as this was a new client of mine, I took few deep breaths and though digestive system, where does it go, etc and I then had confidence and pointed it out.
At the end of the day, you have done your study, you know the A&P of the body, the exam is not to catch you out but to ensure you know what you are doing so think positive, lots of deep breaths, if you really are in a bad way nervous, just tell the examiner you feel nervous.
Sending lots of best wishes to all....... you will all be fine

Star99 how did it go for this morning? Did you do ok?
It was posponed until tomorrow,we did some meridian work and worked on each other, very interesting,I am however sooooooo tired, wondering would working the meridians cause this as they were very painful, the spleen especially.
Well the mocks are finally over, had them from 9 to 4.30 today, and of course I panicked and made some silly mistakes,on the A&P,we had to answer 8 out 12 questions and when I was fininshed I realised that, which meant I was rushing, as I answered all 12.Please people read the questions very carefully. There were no multiple choice, but some were just naming and others were DESCRIBE.
The first paper was on professional procedures, the second on Refloxology theory, assisted areas etc, overall it was ok,but I know in September I will be reading the paper properly. The practical was fine, just my timing was too short.Hope this helps others. It was quite a tiring day but it does give greart insight into the real thing.
Exams starting Friday, have studied loads of past papers and louise tucker is my bible but am still very nervous, dont know wot to expect????:):)
Hi Shellyxx, how did you get on???:)
Glad you got through it Star, you can relax now and treat yourself to a treatment!!!!
Well, over 'til the real ones at the end of year,I really should keep on top of it though, money tight at the moment so it will have to be self treatments and my friend who works at ACC bank was informed of its closure in July so I will offer her some treatments and be gaining the benefits of learning.
Just received my diploma in Crystal and Spiritual Healing. A hard slog but well worth it
