Georgec I am so jealous, they really are spectacular gowns..
I like wedding dresses, big wow to those who know me, just no inclination to marry. Now if I could get away with wearing some of them to salsa, then you'd be talking..
Ha HA,
well i read a story the other week about a woman who decided enough was enough, she hadnt got a partner but wanted a big white wedding, so she bought the dress, hired the hall, booked the party, guests flocked in and there in the bar was a guy who asked if he could step in as the groom, and yes you guessed it, they are now together planning to get married for real in the future....see there are happy endings......awwwwww
thats quite funny actually, all that money for a fake wedding just for fun!
imagine them telling THAT story to their grandkids! lol
That's just too cute, so Hollywood
I got my wedding dress from a shop that made them on the premises. I think there were only 2 staff and most of the dresses were made to demand with just a small selection to display in the shop. They had made one that everyone liked but apparently it was much too small for everyone who liked it so it was half price. Guess what - it fitted me perfectly, no alterations needed.
It was very very pale pink taffeta silk, 3/4 length, very fitted with a bolero jacket that had mutton sleeves. I hate being the centre of attention so didn't want anything big & obvious. I loved it!
As to the original question of getting married - nope, been there, done that - never again!
